The customer contacted us regarding this issue two times. The first time was in our store, and the second was via email. Both times we responded and addressed the issue regarding her gift card issue...

directly. We did everything in our power to communicate clearly and professionally to the customer that there was nothing we could do about her expired gift card. Our policies have been put in place to protect both the consumer as well as our business. Our website is listed on the gift card with the terms and conditions regarding the use of the card, and, rather than assuming that our store went out of business, the customer could have called or looked us up online for our other locations. Unfortunately, she did neither. We are sorry we can not meet her demands as we are a small business and do the best we can to meet all of our customers needs. In this case we understand that the customer is not satisfied with our multiple responses and therefore reached out to the Revdex.com to lodge a complaint.

Review: A gift card was purchased for me in the amount of $100 on January **, 2013. The boutique [redacted] will not honor the card or provide a refund. The unique circumstances of this situation is that the store moved locations in October of 2013 and I am told advertised this information in store and on there website. I do not live in the neighborhood that the store was located in and therefore was not informed. I was under the impression that the store has gone out of business. Then in April a friend of mine discovered the new and current location on [redacted]. To my delight I went into the store to use my gift card and was denied. The management was unwilling to honor the gift card regardless of the move and therefore confusion to its customers and/or refund the $100.I believe that this is a very unprofessional way to treat customers and as returning customer was disappointed with this service. With kind regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to request that I be able to redeem my gift card or that the $100 be refunded.
