We are writing in response to the complaint received in mail.  Sorry for getting back to you a bit late due to a delay in our mailing services.We really appreciate your forwarding the complaint and it is a high priority of ours to address this as we pride ourselves in customersatisfaction.As we...

are a unique customer couture boutique, we provide custom design and handmade wedding gowns and special occasion wear.  Due to the nature of the business, we have close interactions with our customers, so we remember this particular customer who filed the complaint.  She and her daughters made three dresses with us.  Each custom dresses require 3-5 fittings as our normal process which she was well informed at the beginning.  Her second daughter's dress was made for rush order, and we did not charge a rush fee as a courtesy.  Her daughter flew home on a Wednesday, just a few days before the wedding, allowing only three days for V[redacted] to make her dress, which required tremendous time and effort, but the customer seemed to be unmoved about V[redacted]'s work ethics.  As for not delivering the last dress, we shouldn't be hold accountable for it, because we are not a concierge service provider - delivery is not in our service, but V[redacted] would have delivered it herself if her daughter wasn't catching her flight to Europe that day.  However, we shouldn't be responsible for unreasonable requests - there were other instances.  For example, V[redacted] re-designed two pieces of clothing for free at this customer's request as a courtesy and to show appreciation of her business.  She then requested a third free re-design but got turned down this time.  Not to mention, this customer was very reluctant in paying her balance.  Depending on the work required, our business maintain the right to collect the balance any time from final fitting to pick up.  No customer of ours has ever refuse to pay at the time when payment is requested, but she did, despite the fact that we have communicated verbally and via email.  It made us very hard to work with her, because this customer seemed to have a habit of claiming unreasonable and free services.  As a business, we also maintain the right to decide what services can be provided and what can not.  We hope the customer would understand our business policy.  We do want to apologize for any communications that might have caused the misunderstandings.As of her daughter's dress problem, there was no documented crooked seam problem at the fittings, so if there was at the event, it could be a normal wear damage, same as the hem.  It is in our service to repair normal wear damages of our garments, and we will be gladly do so for her.  Given the circumstances, we can offer a special discount rate as a one time courtesy.  We will contact her to set up appointment should she accept our offer.Please contact us at 440-815-1860 should you have any questions.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter!Best Regards,[redacted]On behalf of[redacted]______________________Chief Executive Officer[redacted]27600 Chagrin Blvd,Woodmere, OH
