The dealership let me take a vehicle home the night before I signed the contract and I was involved in an incident that night. My insurance is saying that they will not provide a Certificate Of Compliance (COC) because the contract had not been signed and that it would be Lucky 7’s insurance that would have to provide the COC. Lucky 7 is refusing to provide the COC and my license has been suspended because of it.

Went to lucky 7 on September 25th, 2018, looked around lot, a female dealer came out asked if she could help us, (husband and I). I told her I was looking for at lease 2 vehicles roughly total $4000 cash! I was looking at the Oldsmobile Silhouette. Had to ask what year it was and how many miles on it cause it didn't even have one of those papers on the window with the vehicle information. Ask her how much they wanted. Also asked if the prices on the windows of the cars in front of building where cash prices or down payment, she said cash. Van price was close to $1900. Asked if I wanted to test drive it, said sure. Took for a drive, said to the husband that I don't like how the steering wheel don't sit straight when car goes straight! We stop to see how the wheels where with the steering wheel sitting sideways, the wheels where straight, told the husband to look at them when I turn the wheel to be straight! The driver front side looked like it was bent. We went back to the shop, and we told the lady our concern. I said I don't know if it would be a alignment fix or a rod, or something more expensive and that I am a little skepitical to drive it back to my city 43 miles away. I said If its a tie rod it can be a easy fix but anything else will be costly. I also said the eng. light is on can we find out why. She first says I have the machine inside we can hook it up, then she says oh wait no I don't cause its different connectors. Yes that vehicle does use a different machine to test with! AutoZone cant even test it! So I would have to pay my mechanic to do it! So she went and got the manager to come out and look at it, she said he's going to drive it and see what it is! He gets in the vehicle drives it back and forth in the lot in one spot, I said he can tell what it is that way? She said yes! He gets out says it's the alignment. I looked at husband and said well should we purchase it? I asked if they would take $1500 cash for it, manager says I can't go that low. He says $1750. We said ok! Got it home, told hubby we are going to take it to our mechanic get oil changed, and have him check the tire/ steering wheel issue. My next day off of work 2 days later I took it over to my mechanic I been with for over 15 years! About 15 min. after dropping it off, he's calling me saying I can't do the alignment on this! The whole frame underneath is rotted! The one side with the tire problem is all rusted cant even put a bolt to it no where. So I called Lucky 7 (4pm CT) , talked to a female that wasn't there the first day, she said she would leave my message with who I bought the car from and she will call you back, she is with a customer. Around 445pm CT. I called back to see if she was still busy, the lady told me yes she is still with a customer. The next day I called them at 1050am CT. The lady I bought it from answered. I said this is *** I would like to speak with the manager, She says Hi *** this is ...... I talked to the manager and he said since we lowered the price for you and you bought it "as is" we don't have to do anything. I said there is a lemon law! I said, you are also suppose to sale safe vehicles aren't you. She says I did not know anything was wrong with it cause I drove it..... I said you knew I have concerns on it, why didn't you say hey take it to your mechanic and have them look it over. She said you didn't ask! I said would you of let me taken it 43 miles to mine? She said no we can't let cars go off the lot for 2 3 days, I said why do I see dealer plates on the streets for couple days including sundays?? She said we cant give cars out that long. She said you could of took it to a mechanic around here. I said I don't know any so how can I trust them? I said you guys told me it was the alignment, she says i'm not a mechanic, I said well your manager said it, she says he's not one either. So why did you say he can tell its just an alignment just driving it in the lot back and forth like that?? She told me I could take it to their mechanic in Warsaw, IN. I said you want me to drive a unsafe vehicle to Warsaw that is 2 hours away? She said have it towed, I said you pay for the towing. I asked for mechanics number, I said if that mechanic says its not driveable then what? She says will deal with it then! She gave me their number, when I first called the number the lady from dealership answered the phone, I said what are you doing to me? she said excuse me, I said its *** this is the number you gave me to call, she rambled off the same number again I said yes! I asked my husband what number is on this phone screen, he said the same numbers she gave me. I tried it again, a guy answered, all he said was hello, I said ummm who is this, I couldn't understand his name, I said do you know lucky 7 auto he was like no, I said you a mechanic, ummm yes, I said do you do mechanic work for lucky 7, he says ohhh lucky 7, he said not always, I said they told me to call you with my problem cause you do all their work. he was like well.... yea. I explain to him what my mechanic told me he was like I don't understand. I said I can try to bring it Monday morning but its not safe, I don't want to get into a accident on my way there or hit anyone. Days later, I wrote a note on their fb page message asking if they where connect to the same one in Mishawaka, since they might of had my spare key. Whoever answered.... asked how they could assist me, I told them what's going on and sent them the pics I got from my mechanic, needless to say they seen my message but haven't even tried to call me or help me with this situation, I still haven't even heard from the managaer himself!

Just to let you know.... I had to get news involved, lucky 7 is going to take the van back and refund my money! If anything else happends instead I will get back to you! Thank you! But in all honesty they should inspect there cars to make sure they are safe! :)

We have spoke with Mrs. and acknowledged her concerns with the vehicle that she purchased. The vehicle was almost 23 years old, we do live in Indiana so rust is a concern for all vehicles on the road and after offering to have the vehicle repaired at our facility we came up with a better resolution for her. I purchased a 2005 Chevy Equinox LS from Lucky on 7-18-18 thru the Greater Mishawaka Auto Auction. Upon receiving the title we went to work on vehicle. I say after the title because if I had went to work on vehicle before the title arrived and something happened with me getting tittle any monies that I would have put into the vehicle would have been lost. Which happened to me 2 weeks earlier. So I put the vehicle on hoist and the undercarriage is completely rust thru. Two holes completely thru the frame. Someone had put a spring by the suspension so it would not hit the frame. I contacted my rep from the auction on the 6th day. I sent him pictures of what it looked like under the vehicle. I contacted the owner of the auction the next day. She said frame damage has to be reported within 7 days, which the day we were speaking was the 7th day. She said she would reach out to him and see what he says. That was the 24th of July. I called her every day for any updates, which she had none. When I called today, 31st, she said he was not willing to help you or take vehicle back. I told her that I didn't think that was fair and I was going to start writing reviews and letters. About 10 minutes after that call ended, she called me back. She said she had told him what I said and he is willing to give me $500. To me that just proves he knows he is wrong. If I take this vehicle to the Chevy dealer, they will pull it for being UNSAFE. I will be out the $2345.00 and a vehicle.

This vehicle was sold at auction. The auction never notified us until the 31st of July. We offered $500 deduction out of goodwill. However we then told the auction that we would be willing to accept the vehicle back and reimburse the buyer. This has been done so not sure why this has escalated. Please contact advise *** that she needs to contact Greater Mishawaka Auto auction where the vehicle was purchased.

This vehicle was sold at auction. I was offered $500 at first. I rejected that offer because the vehicle was rusted out so bad and I knew what the laws were. After rejection Lucky 7 did refund my money. This complaint was filed after the first call when I was told that Lucky 7 was not going to refund me my money and that I needed to do what I felt right. So I did, I filed a complaint to start. Then after 45 minutes of filing complaint they called and said they would return all my money. Which they did. This would not have escalated to the complaint if they would have did the right thing to begin with. I am glad they did return all my money and this matter is behind me. Thank you

I am buying the nissan murano from lucky 7 store in mishawaka I have had the car for about 6 months I am having issues with the car the whole wheel assembly has been rotted away from the body. I have talked to the salesman about it he said he was gonna fix it. I have talked to him a second time about it hwe said he ordered the part. since then I had to take the nissan to the nissan sales for a recal of the brake fluid cntainer. nissan in formed me that the nissan murano has many issues 1. the airbags light is coming on on the dashboard.2. the transmission is going out. 3. the wheel assemble on the back end has rotted away from the frame and the mechanic at nissan told me that it was dangerous to drive the vehicle that both sides of the wheel assemble has rotted away. before I took the car to nissan I had talked to the sales person who sold me the car and he said that he had ordered the part to fix the back wheel assembly this has been two or three weeks ago. he said he ordered it from arizona and that he would call me when the part came in. anyway I think the sales man is giving me the run around.even the machanic he sent me to they were gonna look at the car because he saidsaid he wanted them to look at the car cause he wanted to see what was wrong with the car he wouldnt believe me when I said that the car was not drivable.the only reason I found out the car was about to come apart is when I took the car to get new tires the insataller told me to come look at the car before he put tires on it he showed me the damage on both sides of the rear of the car. he told me that it was dangerous to drive the car and asked if I still wanted him to install the tires I told him yes cause the tires on it were showing wires. that day was the first day I called lucky 7 car store and asked him what was the policy on him selling cars that were defective and I told him what was going on with the car and what the tire installer said . he said he didnt believe the person the company who installed my tires that he would have to have his machanic look at it. wel to this day I have been waiting for a call from the person from lucky7 to get to me. I dont think he wants to fix it. all I want is for him to take back this car and trade me for another. I have not driving the car since we first talked over the phone back in april or may except to nissan for the recall that they sent me a post card through the mail. the car does not go into second gear. anyway I hope you can help me. *** God Bless.

Since I last sent in the complaint. Lucky seven said since I posted a complaint with Revdex.com he was getting in contact with his lawyer's and go from there.
