Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As I stated earlier, I was told that the bolt was loose and the head of the bolt was "rounded" indicating it was probably stripped outThat is entirely different from it being broke off and missingIn additionI was charged $for a complete inspection of my car and it was never accomplishedThe only write up for my car was the loose sensor even though my driver's side headlight housing is delaminatingMy cv boots are starting to split, my radiator hose is starting to swellThese things should have been annotated but they were notHowdy Honda basically stole $from me because there is NO WAY that my car had only one write upClearly, they never inspected the car. They have no intergrity Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:I never got phone calls from them unless in reference to this issue. Mr***, told me to call him last Wednesday when I picked the car up last time I was out of townSo I reached out to him this week I have made an appointment for tomorrow with *** *** to bring the car in.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Regards,

As you will see we have in writing that we reported that the bolt was brokenThe second document shows the write up with the $diagnostic fee for the check engine light and the transmission issueThis was agreed to at write up and the repair was declinedWe were not agreeing to diagnose everything else that may be wrong with the vehicleIt doesn't make sense that the customer came in with the problem and is now blaming us for the condition she brought it in for.Thank you.*** ***Howdy Honda

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** *** told me I would be getting a multipount inspection to include the diagnosis of the check engine lightYou record your phone lines, why don't you take the time to actually listen to ALL of the conversations I had with your service repYour responses are ridiculousIf you don't know the facts of the situation, educate yourself before trying to respond to this complaintI have witnesses to all the phone calls, I had *** on speakerphoneI also have a witness to Matcus telling me that my car was in great shape, nothing was found on the inspection other than the bolt.

I am rejecting this response because:As I stated earlier, I was told that the bolt was loose and the head of the bolt was "rounded" indicating it was probably stripped out. That is entirely different from it being broke off and missing. In addition. I was charged $90 for a complete inspection of my car and it was never accomplished. The only write up for my car was the loose sensor even though my driver's side headlight housing is delaminating. My cv boots are starting to split, my radiator hose is starting to swell. These things should have been annotated but they were not. Howdy Honda basically stole $90 from me because there is NO WAY that my car had only one write up. Clearly, they never inspected the car. They have no intergrity.

Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns from one of our valued customers, [redacted].Mrs. [redacted] did visit our Express Service department as she stated on 1/22/2016. During that visit we did notice a transmission leak and referred her to the main service department which is...

better suited for a proper diagnosis and repair. Mrs. [redacted] states the transmission was not topped off during the visit in Express. We agree with her claim and sincerely apologize for our lack of attention to detail on that visit. She did return on 02/04/2016 to have it diagnosed and repaired. Unfortunately, when the vehicle came in on the 4th of February, the transmissions exterior was soaked with transmission fluid making it difficult to determine the exact cause of the leak since there are a number of seals and gaskets that were wet with fluid. In order to diagnose the leak properly we had to clean the transmission and add a dye to the fluid to inspect in the near future. If the leak is caused by a failure of a seal or gasket or a component of the transmission itself the repair would be covered 100% by American Honda. Since then we have reached out to Mrs. [redacted] numerous times leaving her messages to please contact us to arrange a loaner vehicle so we can address the transmission leak. At the same time we would like to refund the $80.00 requested. She has not returned our calls. Our offer is open to provide Mrs. [redacted] with alternate transportation.Mrs. [redacted] is justifiably upset and deserves our sincerest apology and a refund for the $16.22. We are anxious to resolve her concerns and rebuild her confidence in Howdy Honda.Thank you, again for the opportunity to resolve Mrs. [redacted] concerns.[redacted]Parts and Service DirectorHowdy Honda

This complaint has been resolved with the customer. We “unwound” the deal and took the truck back, all with no expense to the customer. He indicated that he was going to re-contact the Revdex.com to let them know that his complaint was handled to his satisfaction.   [redacted] General Sales Manager...

Thank you for allowing us to address the concerns from [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] came in on 6/22/2017 with the concern of a check engine light and the vehicle transmission shifting erratically. Our technician noticed that the head of the bolt that holds the main-shaft sensor was sheared off....

Since the bolt is not securing the sensor as designed the sensor is sending a diagnostic trouble code saying we need to replace the sensor. Our recommendation is to remove what is left of the bolt and re-secure the sensor and retest. Ms. [redacted] stated that a few different shops attempted diagnosing and repairing the vehicle for this condition before she brought the vehicle to us. The bolt is in the same condition that it was when she brought the vehicle to us. It is stated on our paperwork that the bolt head is broken off. We think she must be confusing us with someone else that worked on her vehicle prior to her taking it in to us. Thank you, again, for the opportunity to address Ms. [redacted]’s concerns. [redacted]Parts and Service DirectorHowdy Honda
