Dear [redacted]:
Thank you for your letter dated February **, 2014. On January [redacted] 2014 our bus number [redacted] did experience a mechanical issue, specifically a suspension...

problem, while on route from Boston to New York. The trip began in Boston at 2 AM and the driver experienced the issue at 5 AM. The trip normally takes four hours. The driver pulled the bus over to the side of the road and called his dispatcher to report the problem. The decision was made to continue to the New York Terminal. The suspension problems were compounded by road construction in the NYC area.
The bus was immediately taken out of service and submitted to our mechanics. It was found that the problem was an air leak in a control valve that occurred after the bus left Boston. Such a condition could not have been determined during our driver’s pre-trip inspection that morning. This is further evidenced by the fact that the problem did not manifest itself until 3 hours into the trip.
All of our buses are inspected twice a year by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition our buses receive regularly scheduled monthly preventative maintenance. Each time a bus is used we document the condition of the vehicle and make any required repairs forthwith.
The passenger called our office many times seeking a refund. The circumstances of this situation did not meet our refund policy.

Dear Revdex.com,

The statement that Lucky Star submitted is false.  The bus was compromised upon leaving the gate at 2am, it got worse by 5am when the driver pulled over.  I did not call Lucky Star several times, rather the several calls were no doubt from other passengers I communicated with that also rode the bus that day.  Lucky Star has had to stop use of their service in the past for similar issues that have put patrons at risk.  Per research, I found that the Lucky Star bus company simply does Bad Business, which is why I contacted you.  They have been shut down before, and should be again, until their vehicles are up to standard code.  In short, Lucky Star is an unethical bus company that's more about making a dollar than considering the safety of their passengers.

Review: The Lucky Star Bus company put several paasengers at risk by using unsafe buses for transport. On January [redacted] I had the worst bus ride ever between Boston and New York City. A consumer that has recently moved from New York to Boston, I used the service to get to work amidst transition. Lucky Star refused to take responsibility for using a bus that was not properly maintained that had extremely bad shock absorbers. I have video of the nightmare ride on my phone, however the file is to big to e-mail, so I am not able to upload it to another website.Desired Settlement: Lucky Star has had their services suspended in the past for practicing poor business habits. They need to be shut down for good as they do not take being suspended seriously.
