Lucky's Tattoo & Piercing

I went into the Lucky's Shop in July and had a piercing done. It was improperly executed and now I can never have that area pierced again due to how the piercing was done. Bleeding is normal, but to lose as much blood that I lost is not. I fainted about 6 hours after the piercing was done because the bleeding had gotten worse. Over the next few days, I called several times wishing to speak to the [redacted], but every time I called, I was redirected to someone who "didn't have the power to give a refund". I was told I "should have known there was a problem before I left" and still never got in touch with the [redacted]. I have gotten the run around now for almost a month and now when I call, no one calls me back.Product_Or_Service: Nipple PiercingDesired SettlementI would like the $60 dollars I payed on my debit card in either cash or a direct refund to my account. Business' Initial Response Here at Lucky's we have always held our staff to an unparalleled standard of customer service. When working in an industry that deals with sensitive issues such as the permanence of a tattoo, or the usually slight but ultimately unavoidable discomfort that is a side effect of any piercing, a person learns the importance of listening to a client and taking seriously their questions and concerns. The moment that this particular client called with her concerns about her fresh piercing she was immediately encouraged to come back to the shop so that our piercer could ensure that neither her health nor the overall success of her piercing were in jeopardy. We took special care with this client, as she had spent the majority of the time that she was in the shop speaking to her dissatisfaction with every experience she'd had with piercers in the past, and we wanted to make sure that we did not become another on her list.Upon inspection by our piercer, who is backed by 13 years of experience, there appeared to be no issue with the new piercing. However understanding that the experience of being pierced can vary significantly from person to person, and understanding that she was not pleased with her new piercing we offered to either re-pierce her for free or, give her a different piercing free of charge. Having decided to give the piercing some time to settle and to see if she became more pleased with it as the swelling went down, the client left the shop seemingly satisfied with her options and we here at the shop did not feel that we had any reason to believe otherwise. Having spoken directly with the client we have settled on refunding her the $60 she has requested and have apologized for the misunderstanding which led to the delay of her being refunded. We have also encouraged her to seek a second opinion as to whether or not she can be re-pierced in the same spot considering that it is truly a rarity to find a person so badly scarred by a piercing that had been in the body for less than 24hours that they are no longer candidates for the same piercing. We do hope that this response to her complaint will put this incident to rest and we hope that both the aforementioned client and any prospective clients will be satisfied to know that we are still committed to their overall satisfaction and to doing whatever we can to ensure a positive experience for all who come through our door.
