Review: I brought in a light blue dress silk mens shirt (Tommy Bahama) to be cleaned. When I returned home with it after it was cleaned there was a large stain on the front left side of the shirt starting from above the pocket to the bottom hem and also on the sleeve. I returned to the cleaners and questioned them. The owner, [redacted], told me it was like that when I brought it in. I asked why they would not bring this to my attention before cleaning it so I would not assume they did it and [redacted] had no answer. He really just kept trying to ignore me. I am positive it was not stained when I brought it in, this stain is not something anyone could miss as it is down the whole front left side of the shirt. They took it back and said they would try to clean it again but that only made it worse. Now it is also faded. I asked them to file an insurance claim, as this was a very costly shirt ($145.00), and they would not do so. This dress shirt was only a year old and hardy ever worn. They did not offer me anything. I couldnt even get [redacted]s last name.Desired Settlement: I would like them to place an insurance claim in for $145.00 so I can purchase another shirt or a cash settlement. I do not want a credit for their services as I will not be using them any longer.
