Otherwise known as http://deutscheoptik.com/, they sell nazi paraphernalia, at least in their physical catalog.

One product description states "Terrific new find of full panes of WW-II stamps, all starring Adolf Hitler."

There is nothing terrific about this.

I will refuse to buy anything from a business that supports, let alone profits, from such a terrible era.

Buried deep in the middle of their "Deutsche Optik" catalog is all sorts of vile Nazi crap, emblazoned with swastikas, that would appeal only to the heinous neo Nazi enthusiast. My German American and Scots Irish / Native American ancestors shed blood to voluntarily go back over to Europe and crush the goddamn Nazis for the US Army and Air Corps. These evil trinkets should either be in a museum with a plaque explaining their origins, or they should be destroyed. Not sold to the public as "cool stuff".

Be careful of these. These items may be repros out of Poland as there are the same exact 'matchbox' covers (brass and steel) being sold as real but an outfit out of Poland are honest and owning up to the fact the items are repros - or also described as 're-enactment' items. Check out whatever you may buy first on ebay to see if you can find others with a more accurate description.

Extremely non-responsive customer service. 10-day return policy is fine, but I knew I would be in the hospital and unable to meet this deadline. I left a voice mail message asking for assistance, explaining my dilemma. No response. Sent 3 emails to the information email address to request assistance, still no response. Today I have been refused the opportunity to return a perfectly unused item, solely due to this company's failure to respond to my various requests for assistance. Never ordering from them again!

Please disregard this review, the company has provided assistance now. Thanks eternally.

In mid August, 2014, I placed a phone order with the subject firm. Iselected the item from a picture and description of the item-[redacted]-from page 11 of the subject company's Summer 2014 catalog. The ad shows an attractive appearing item described as "actual Swiss Army surplus"On the same page are other items, one described as "Used but in fairly good condition". Another as "brand new". I was very surprisedwhen the item arrived to find it was in very used condition. It wasmore in the nature of "junk" than "surplus". Not something that Iwas ready to spend $79 on. I should mention that another item I ordered,a cook pot, with the same order arrived badly gauged up. When I phoned about returning the items, I was told the cook pot was a sale itemand not returnable. I was given a number to use to return the pick axeand when I took it to the FedEx office was surprised to find I wouldhave to pay to return it ($15.59) to get the purchase price back.I sent an e-mail regarding their "satisfaction guaranteed" claim.I was told others were happy with the item. I don't know what theygot or what they expected to get or anything else about them. I believe that stretching the word "surplus" to cover the axegoes beyond what any reasonable person would understand the wordto mean when looking at the item I received. I consider it as somethingused up and to be discarded. Something you would pay no morethan a few dollars for at a yard sale. The handle was badly wornas was the chopping edge of the blade. When I opened the box I thoughtthere had been some mistake. If the ad had said "used" I could have made a decision based on thatinformation. It does not say used. It says "surplus" and leaveshow broad that goes to the seller and not the buyer who makes a decision based on the ad and the picture. I most surely wouldnot have bought this item if I had known what condition it was in. I planned to use the axe, it has a pointed end, as a cane during the icy timeof the year.Desired SettlementI would prefer to have mailing paid in both directions, say $30.At the very least, for the return mailing fee.
