I brought my wife's 2000 Honda CRV to have bodywork done at Ludlow automotive. I was given a price of $600 to have the body rust replaced with new metal over the two rear tires. In addition, I supplied the paint for the bodywork. Bodywork was completed the first time within three days. The the craftsmanship was poor resulting in paint being oversprayed and the rust coming back within three weeks. I brought the car back two more times with the same results. In addition the owner lied to me about what he was going to do. He never cut out and replaced the rust that he promised me he was going to do. My wife is handicapped and needs that car to get around. I now have to bring the car to another body shop for an additional thousand dollars to complete the mistakes and lies from the owner. I am looking to get my money back so I can pay for the repairs that were promised me by this poor company.Desired SettlementPlease refund 600.00 plus 36.00 dollars doe the paint. Total is $636.00

Ludlow Automotive had my vehicle for over three months and after I finally picked the car up, it was not repaired. On [redacted] 2014 I dropped my car off at Ludlow Automotive to have a transmission issue fixed in my 2008 [redacted] The owner assured me that he had worked on similar types of vehicles and that he would take the job. Over the next two and a half months I was unaware of what was happening with my vehicle. I called several times with no return phone calls. The only time I received any correspondence was when more money was needed. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with the owner [redacted], who was alledgedly the person doing the repairs. I returned several times to drop off money for different parts and labor, each time receiving very unclear, vague explanations. The only part I was told that I needed over the entire time period of the repair was a valve body. I was charged [redacted] for the valve body. I was repeatedly calling, sometimes several times a day. I also stopped by on several occasions and was not able to get in touch with [redacted] or get any explanation as to the status of the repair. Each time I was told that [redacted] was out of the office and that he would return my calls. I did not receive any return calls. I had returned on several occasions to pay for both work and parts, yet I was not being told exactly what parts I needed and how many hours of labor I was being charged for.I was not able to use the car during this entire period making it very difficult on both myself and my family. When I picked the car up on 1-5-15 I was told that the repairs were completed and I needed to bring my car to a [redacted] dealership to have the transmission re-programmed. When I drove the car out of the parking lot of Ludlow Automotive, I noticed that the transmission was acting as it was before the repairs. I brought the vehicle to a [redacted] dealership on [redacted] The transmission was re-programmed and the issue was not resolved. The receipt dates and totals are as follows: [redacted] No [redacted] No [redacted] No [redacted] No [redacted] The last receipt I received for the car was when I picked it up on [redacted] The total cost of the repairs was [redacted] All of these payments were made in cash except for the payment made on XX-XX-XX for [redacted]Desired SettlementI was unable to use my vehicle during the three months it was at Ludlow Automotive. I was able to borrow a family member's car in order to get myself to work. The family member whose car I borrowed was not able to work based on the fact that I was using her car. The total cost of what I paid combined with the work that was missed is approximately [redacted] This has left me financially destitute and I would very much like a refund so that I may find myself another vehicle.

Approximately 6 weeks from today's date, I brought my truck to Ludlow Automotive for repair. I was advised that my truck needed a new engine. On or about [redacted] 2015, I brought my truck to Ludlow Automotive for repair. I was advised that my truck needed a new engine and that the owner had one he just removed from another truck of the same make on hand and he would swap out the engines. I was promised that the work would be done within three days. I called just about everyday after the promised date in which my truck was to be completed and was given the run around. As of [redacted] the truck was still not finished NOR even started. I am currently stationed in [redacted] and called Ludlow Automotive today [redacted] and was advised that the engine they were going to put into my truck was "stolen" and wanted me to pay an additional [redacted] (in which I have already given Ludlow Automotive [redacted] for the replacement of my engine) for a new engine.Desired SettlementI would like to receive a refund of monies already given to Ludlow Automotive for work to be performed on my truck. I use this truck for business purposes and am already out thousands of dollars for jobs that could not be completed. I own a landscaping business here in Ludlow, MA.
