Ludwig's Plumbing & Well Pumps

My husband is a builder/developer who was referred to Ludwig Plumbing by our condo association for a small repair job. He called to inquire about the job and cost. Ludwig informed him the rate would be $85/hour. My husband questioned this rate as it seemed high. On the third visit my husband was able to be there during the work. Interestingly there were 2 men there. One did the work and the other mostly talked and occasionally went down the elevator to get a supply. When we received the bill for these 3 visits we were charged not $85/hour but $170/hour for 2 men. This is a Bait and Switch tactic as we were never told that 2 men would be needed for the job. I would not recommend this company as they lack integrity and didn’t even do a good job as we had to repair something after they were gone. And interestingly enough—we had an electrician there 3 times and received 3 bills. Wonder why we only received one bill from the plumber—could it be he didn’t want us to see he was charging us double what he told us!
