Bloomington MedExpressThis was my first time ever going to a MedExpressThe only two female staff members I encountered were very unprofessionalOne, after asking my marital status to which I replied "single", asked "And are you happy with that?" That was during check in, and I should have just left thenI paid up front (no insurance) and the female nurse then "jokingly" was telling me how she was going to take my temprectallyThat was very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortableAfter she took my vitals, she escorted me to the exam room, where she again "joked" about taking my temprectallyThe doccame in and I told him my problemsUltimately, he either suggested I take over the counter medication for my nagging cough that keeps me up all night, or he offered a Rx, which I told him I have tried in the past and doesn't workHe wasn't willing to offer me anything strongerVery disappointed and would never go back or recommend this place to ANYONE! It was a waste of time and hard earned money!

I had a negative experience today - 6/13/ Got right in - but waited for over minutes in the room waiting on the Dr I guess they take you back so it looks like no one is in the waiting room I had to leave before Drever came in - by that time I had been away from my job for well over an hour I am sure they will charge me with the office call even though I never seen the Dr I will never go back

I arrived at the Kokomo location after I ate lunch with mild stomach cramps that I had been having off and on over the last couple weeks and I was tired of feeling that way so instead of going to the hospital I chose MedExpress and I was hoping I could get a medication that would calm my stomach downInstead DrDAVID BEESON prescribed me a Diarrhea pill called Lomotil after I had told him I didnt have diarrheaI took the pill which I thought was suppose to calm my stomach and three hours after taking the Lomotil I had to admit myself to the Emergency room because my cramps became unbearableThe E.Rprescribed Dicyclomine which is a pill for abdominal cramps and within minutes my symptoms completely went awayWhen I got the follow up call from Med Express the next week I informed their employee that the pill I was prescribed put me in the E.Rand they did not act at all like it was any problem of theirs and just said "Well thank you for choosing Med Express we look forward to serving you again" .After I received my bills I filed a complaint with Med Express and asked if they could help with my E.Rbill which is over two thousand dollars It took almost Three weeks and me calling them today to find out that they feel like the care they provided was appropriate for my symptoms and they will not pay for any of the bills I acquired from my E.RvisitI will never in my life go to or suggest to anyone to trust this facility will provide you with the proper treatmentI am pretty certain the only thing its good for is drug screenings for people on probation since I witnessed more than half a dozen people the day I was there doing just thatHorrible care provided by completely incompetent Physicians

MedExpress Urgent Care billing is shadyI went to MedExpress Urgent Care because I had my fingers crushed in a doorI was in a lot of pain and had to be sure my fingers had not been broken (they weren't, thank goodness)The staff was nice and were helpfulI am a private pay patientI was told for the visit it would be $and for the X-Rays $I received 800MG of Ibuprofen and two finger splintsI just received a bill and was shockedBecause of the Finger Splints (which by the way are only $at WalMart) it put me into what they call a tier billingWhich means I was charged an extra $100!!!! The billing department only said, well the paper work you were given explains there could be an extra chargeOk, so when someone is really ill or in pain, they have to comprehend this and agree to it? How does that make sense?! Why wasn't I told I would be charged for some cheap finger splints?! How is this ok?! Had I known I would've been charged so much for this, I would have refused the stupid splints and bought my own! I am single mother with two teenagers, one who is autisticI don't have money just laying around for this
