Review: I purchased a 2005 [redacted] Pathfinder from Lugo Auto thinking it was in running condition. Within three hours I had to return the vehicle for the check engine light that appeared on the dash. At this time they took full responsibility for it, and according to them I had nothing to worry about. They returned the car back to me towards the end of April and was told it was in perfect condition. But, come to find out the car has transmission issues and no one wants to provide invoices of work performed. I was denied because they mentioned I leased the vehicle, and I’m not entitled to know what was fixed in the car.Desired Settlement: To please return my down payment of $2,000.00 plus the payments I have paid towards the loan. The car isn’t running! So, the $2000.00 down payment and $1,321.72 for the payments.

Review: Purchased a truck from Lugo, a week later the truck breaks down on us on the freeway almost 2 hours away. We had to pay $200 for the tow truck to drop it off at the dealer. Financer also did not want to finance me no more so they returned the contract back to Lugo Auto Group. The deal was now between me and Lugo Auto Group, but I did not want the truck no more since it broke down once and cost us $200 to bring it back. They denied me my money and said that I can only take the truck back not my money. It was as if I had no choice but to stay with the truck. We ended up leaving without the truck and without the money.Desired Settlement: Nothing, based on relatives who have been there before it seems that they also had bad reviews there for we do not have trust in Lugo Auto Group and would not recommend that place to anyone.

Review: I am being harrassed by Lugo Auto Group because they are claiming that I did not give the full $7,500 of my car's down payment. On the contract, that was signed on the day I financed the car, it states that the full $7,500 dollar was given.Desired Settlement: I would like the unnecessary threats to stop. They are threatening to send me to collection if a payment is not received.

Review: I purchased a 2004 Jeep Liberty from the company March 2015. 3 days after having purchased the vehicle the car was violently shaking and out of nowhere the check engine light came on as I was driving with my 4 year old daughter. I called the company to resolve the matter they somehow tweaked the computer to get the light to turn off after keeping it overnight causing me to miss work which at the time was all the way in Roseville when I lived in South Sacramento. A week later same issue were occurring except the light wouldn't come on and car began overheating but none of the indicators were working. Finally I decided to cancel the separate warranty I had purchased because they refused to resolve the matter without having $700-1200 more dollars aftee having already paid $900 for it on top of over $6000 for the vehicle itself. I called and was informed that I would need to speak with [redacted] who informes me I needdd to make my request in writing, in which I did and mailed it off, a month later she claims to never having received it in the mail so I resent it via fax and email which she confirmed she received. She never once followed up with me by phone as she promised to do adnd last I spoke she fixxed her lips to tell me I wouldnt be eligible for a refund on my warranty but never sent me anything ib writing and wouldnt allow me to speak with the insurance company either. I was beyond livid! Whenever you call to speak with someone the salesman Arturo answers the phone and they leave him in charge with no supervisor and or manager to escalate any issues to and when you do get ahold of anyone its usually [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] who all assured me that would call back within a certain amount of days and NONE OF THEM EVER DO!!!! Its a game they play to avoid having to deal with the issues. Its been since March and were halfway through September still dealing with the same issues. The staff there I feel are very unprofessional when it comes to you trying to get things done in a professional matter while still trying to be amicible, I would not recommend this car dealership to anyone. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES make the same mistake I did or expect them to keep their word.Desired Settlement: I want my full $900 refund I purchased for the warranty.
