Review: I called my mechanic and explained that I was having possible transmission issues. I told him my car was jumping and I thought it might be my transmission. He told me to bring it in so he can check it out. I received a call and he notified me that my left axle and struts were bad. I asked was my transmission ok. He told me yes. He said my axle and bad struts was causing the problem I was having. When I picked my car up, he told me he hadn't had a chance to drive it and to bring it back if I have any problems. Of course I was having problems because my vehicle was misdiagnosed. I brought my vehicle back and he told me nothing was wrong. I told him I was leaving it there until he figured it out. At this point I payed him $430. He called me and said it was my wheel bearings and he wouldn't charge me labor because he misdiagnosed my car the first time. I get another call saying it wasn't my wheel bearing, it is the transmission. My wheel bearings are perfectly fine. I asked nicely for a refund because he didn't do what I asked him to do the first time and he said he can not refund me. He could possible give me a refund on my next vehicle. Please help me.This is not fair. I asked him to check my transmission and he did everything but that. If I knew my transmission was bad I would not have paid for any other repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $430.00 to help cover the cost of my transmission.
