Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below[redacted] You provide a service to your customers In this case, the service was to give me an estimate on everything that was truly wrong with my vehicle and fix them You gave me an estimate for only some of the problems and made me thing every thing would be fine after the work was done So I continued to come back until the list was completed Upon completion, I was let with a vehicle that was still unsafe to drive and didn't even pass a NYS inspection. You stated that I was ''shown the condition and it was explained that this condition would have to resolved before we can further diagnose the front end." This is not true I was under the impression that this would have fixed the problem in the front end, which it did not You also stated that I had a blown shock I tried to find that blown shock and took it back to your shop when you weren't there Your own partner, ***, took a look and he couldn't find the faulty shock either. If I knew you thought this vehicle was going to need more work after your repairs, I wouldn't have invested money into the vehicle at all Since your ''repairs'', I've had to take the car off the road and purchase a new vehicle You led me in a direction that was in your best interest ad your best interest alone I lost $1,by trusting in your repairs You led me down dark alley to a dead end street Your slogan ''honest guys doing honest work'' is, in my opinion, a lie I will continue to feel that you are a liar and a crook and I will stand by my negative review online and continue to give my honest opinion to everyone that I know.Regards, [redacted]

The first visit were the front stabilizer bar linksBoth links were worn, loose and rattlingThe customer was shown this condition and it was explained that this condition would have to be resolved before we could further diagnose the front endThe vehicle also had a blown right front shock that
may have been contributing to the front end noisesThe customer declined that repair as he stated they were under warrantyUpon checking the rest of the front end the only thing found was very slight play in the upper and lower ball joints on both sidesDefinitely not enough to warrant replacement at that timeAs for the complaint on the oil leak we originally replaced hose clamps on the transmission linesAfter replacing the clamps and verifying the hoses were no longer leaking we degreased the under side of the vehicleI explained to the customer that because of the amount of oil under the vehicle it would be best to clean it and recheck for leaks at a later date to try and pin point themThe customer jokingly added that it had been leaking for quite some time and that was fineA few weeks later Mr*** contacted me and said that the noise that was in the front end had returned and it was getting worseUpon test driving the vehicle I noticed the cab of the vehicle lifting and banging on the frameThe test drive was very short and slow as that condition actually scared me as I was drivingWhen I got it on the lift I rechecked our previous suspension work as well as the rest of the front endAll checked ok with the ball joints still having slight playUpon further inspection I found that the right side cab mount had broken off and that the left side was crackedOnce again the customer was shown the condition and I explained that the only noise I was hearing was from the body clunking on the frameI gave the customer an estimate that he agreed to and ordered the partsI told him I would call when they came in as they were ordered from an out of state dealershipThis is undoubtedly his complaint on not calling him backI confess that after a week or so I completely forgot about the order until the customer called backI immediately got on the phone to track the parts only to find that they were on national back orderI informed the customer of the situation and that I would contact him when I knew moreWe received the parts in early January I believe and got the vehicle in for repairs soon thereafterThe replacement parts were not the same as the original equipmentThe OE style were nut and bolt brackets and mountsThe updated replacements required welding for the installWhile I feel comfortable welding exhaust I know that my welding skills are not what they should be in order to weld on frames or suspension componentsBecause I know my limitations I felt compelled to have someone more experienced weld the new brackets onto the frame in order to give my customer the best possible outcomeI ate the extra labor, it turned out to take closer to hours instead of because of the prep required to weld the bracketsBecause I had already given Mr*** an estimate I felt obligated to repair his vehicle at that priceWhile the vehicle was in for this repair Luke tracked the engine oil leak to the valve cover gasketsI cant speak for what Luke did or did not say to Mr*** about the drivability of his vehicleWhat I do know is that Mr*** was allowed to see all broken parts before agreeing to replacementA couple of weeks later, late January, the customer returned to have his valve cover gaskets replacedUpon installation the left side gasket was pinched and not detected before the customer picked up the carThe customer did contact us about an oil smell soon after picking the vehicle upHe was asked to drive the vehicle to see if it was residual that would burn offThe smell continued and we had Mr*** bring the vehicle back inWe found the gasket leaking and made arrangements to replace it immediatelyWhich we didI was unaware that I had an unhappy customer until! read a snarling review on yelp from Mr*** where he called us con-men and crooksThat review was written month after his final visitI reached out to Mr*** at that time but got no responseApparently he took his vehicle in for a NYS inspection and was told that he needed ball jointsAll I can tell you is the same as I told him and that is that the vehicle did not need ball joints in OctoberI make a living by repairing peoples carsHow does it benefit me to not sell ball jointsIt is easy money with a high GPThe vehicle is years old and my guess is that is going to need more workWhat baffles me is why he kept coming back if we were not fixing his issuesBryan ***
