At this point we would like to offer a full refund on the LulzBot Mini from order 45008. [redacted] will need to pack the printer up in its original box with packaging material along with all components. Please write [redacted] on the outside of the box and include it on a piece of paper within....

Once prepared send the printer to: LulzBot ATTN Returns626 w 66th stLoveland, Colorado80538Once we receive the printer back we will be able to issue a refund directly through the purchasing account, or write a check to be delivered certified mail.

We do not store the credit card numbers, so we won't be able to put it back on the card. We'll need a full name and address to mail a paper check to.

I am rejecting this response because:This is partially my fault in requesting something without getting alignment from my...

shop. Although we strongly disagree with the policy of lulzbot not covering shipping for warranty repairs (especially 2 machines down in 2 months), but my shop told me we've already invested in other tool heads and spare parts for the Taz 5. I wasn't aware of this until this morning. Basically, we'll have nearly a thousand dollars worth of useless tools if we don't have the Taz 5 back up and running. Regardless, I would still like the shipping refunded from both the returned machines as a token of Lulzbot standing behind their products. If that can be done and a machine can be sent in a reasonable amount of time, I will accept this as a reasonable solution. The total shipping cost for both printers was $136.02.

I am rejecting this response because:Lulzbot is completely off topic with the inspection results and did not offer any resolution. The problem with the printer is that the Z-coupler broke during operation. All of the electronics and other components worked when I shipped the machine. Once again, dust has nothing to do with this warranty claim and would have no effect on the Z-coupler failing which is the point of the return. I would like Lulzbot to respond with a resolution rather than some pictures of dusty components that could easily be cleaned off with a can of compressed air. I've attached a picture of the component that failed.

The customer originally requested: "I would like a full refund for the Lulzbot 3D printer along with the shipping costs reimbursed from them providing a poorly designed product that had 2 machine down failures within 2 months of operation. " We agreed to this refund. The customer no longer wants what they originally asked for and now wants something else. We won't play this game.We can refund their money as they originally requested and that we agreed to do in December.

Hi,I checked and we received the printer. We unboxed it and found it damaged. It was heavily covered in dust, including the electronics. It must have been used in a woodshop or some environment like that. The printer is only a couple months old or so, so it under normal conditions there shouldn't be this much dust. The dust in the pictures is *not* from the printer itself, it is from something else. This is not a printer we can refurbish and resell without a lot of scrapping of parts. The electronics are probably ruined, for instance. Attached are some pictures. Also, the customer said the unit was DOA, but it certainly looks like it has had plenty of use.Thanks,-Jeff

[redacted], Inc. (manufacturer of LulzBot 3D Printers) appreciates the complaining customer’s interest in the contest for a BQ Ciclop Scanner (“Scanner”), together with the interest of many other applicants. Rather than expend the time and effort to dispute the complaining...

customer’s claim, AOI agrees to send him/her a Scanner. The delivery of a Scanner to the complaining customer constitutes a compromise of disputed claims and is not to be construed as an admission of liability on the part of AOI. AOI sends a hearty thank-you to all who participated in the contest.
