[redacted] called to get an estimate for window tinting, I had told her we have many choices of window films depending on her needs, Once she told me she had a front door that was replaced from melting due from heat, I told her I have a couple of choices in films that we can bring with us for...

She called back a week later and asked us to come out when we were in her area to install the film on her exterior glass storm door.On September 16th we arrived at her home and held up the two choices for her and her husband, they asked the installer what film will reduce the most heat and glare, he showed her the film and they were both happy with the choice and her husband asked if the front door was open would they get any privacy, he was happy to hear the answer was yes. Mr. [redacted] never got off the couch and said if she is happy than he trust her decision. After the installation she came outside and said it looked good and gave us a check for payment. Her husband did not go outside to see the film samples or finished installation. The film reduced their glare, heat and gave them the privacy they asked to have.Within a few days of insta llation Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] called and said "you never told us the film would not let us see the wreath on the front door, my neighbor cannot see our front door". I told her that weheld up the film choices, if she did not like them why did she have us install the film? I also told her when we were working in her area the next time I could have my installer remove the film at no cost, otherwise if I have to make a special trip out I will have to charge for the travel & time away from our shop. I told her that she can easily remove the film glue, it is not a permanent product, and she said she will wait for us. As of this date we have not been in her area, and still plan on calling her to take care of the removal, but we will not refund her money because she has to take responsibility for their choices in life and they had every opportunity to say they did not like it before they had us install the film and that was not the case, they were very happy when we left.This is the first in 25 years we have had a client unhappy with their choice, I believe her husband should have been the one making the choice
