Luminous Flooring did an excellent job on our hardwood floors. At this point they've refinished every inch of wood flooring on the first floor of our house and even installed an entire room that was not originally wood. It all looks fantastic and matches perfectly. We will definitely be working with them when we renovate our second floor.

We had site finished oak floors installed by Luminous Flooring in seven rooms, as part of a renovation. They thoroughly explained the process before they started, and updated us every day as to what would be done that day and in the future. They were careful of our belongings, covering before sanding, vacuuming during and after. They were courteous to other subcontractors working in the same area at the same time. The installers were professional and courteous to everyone. We asked many questions, sometimes the same ones more than once, and were always met with a thorough and courteous answer. Matt, the owner was always reachable. He also worked on the weekend if needed. The final result is stunning. We are extremely pleased and visitors always compliment the floors. Other subcontractors, who see wood floor installation regularly in their line of work, have said these are the best they have ever seen. We highly recommend Luminous Flooring.

I couldn't be happier with my newly refinished floors! The whole Luminous Flooring team exceeded my expectations - the price was fair, the service was exceptional, and the finished product blew my mind! There were some repairs needed where the house had settled around a support beam running the length of the entire 2nd floor (it's almost 100 years old). Not only did they use age appropriate boards for the repairs, they made it look like nothing had ever settled - the floors are flawless! I hired Luminous Flooring to refinish the floors in my living room, dining room, family room, entry hall and hallway to the bedrooms. They replaced my entry hall with the white oak to match the rest of the flooring they were refinishing. They also replaced my kitchen floor.
This was a wonderful experience. ***, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with. At any point when I contacted him, he immediately responded. One crew came out in February to replace the linoleum in my kitchen with *** flooring. The floor is quiet, warm and soft. I am very happy with the product and the crew did an excellent job in just a few hours.
In March they started on the refinishing/replacing, Matt had this scheduled out perfectly. It seemed he had crews of 3-4 people and they all specialized in something different. The first crew removed all of my furniture into the garage and they began covering my window treatments, ducting, bookcases, etc. The next crew showed up to sand, another crew to stain and the last crew to put on baseboards. The floors turned out amazing and the baseboards really looked great. By the end of the week, everything was complete except for the floors because they needed to sit before putting the furniture back. On Monday they arrived on time again to take care of that.
I have done a lot of home improvements and this had to be the smoothest operation I have ever seen. When I received bids from other companies, they did not move furniture or replace baseboards and still charged the same amount of money. Hiring Luminous again would be a no-brainer. I trusted and liked all the men that came to do the work and it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them.

Matt came out on 3/3/19 to look at some repair work and possible replacement of entire house in wood flooring. He said he would get me an estimate right away. Follow up on 3/23/2019 and said he was in Florida and just got back, but would get me an estimate right away. Third follow up call was made on 4/1/2019 and tells me he's been real busy and he's going to pass on the job. Then stalls and says he will work on it today. Today is 4/3/2019 and nothing. I'm sure if you keep treating potential customers the same way as me, you'll have plenty of free time available for getting bids back in a timely manner. Thanks for a waste of a month.

We love our refinished oak floors and vinyl kitchen floor installed by Luminous Flooring. It was done in a timely manner, with attention to detail, and great workmanship. The crew is well trained, cleaned up after their work and were polite and very helpful. My husband and I would highly recommend their services.

From start to finish my experience with Luminous Flooring was GREAT!--They were able to schedule my appointment for measurements quickly-They were super helpful in the decision process of picking out my flooring--the cost was $3000 less than another estimate (and that included working with my stairs)-they arrived when scheduled to install my flooring-while there they WORKED, no goofing around--were always very professional and best of all? I LOVE MY FLOORS!!! I am so glad I found Luminous Flooring and HIGHLY recommend them if you are interested in flooring.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work of Luminous floor from start to finish. This was a project on an old house built in 1934 and I was just hoping for it to be clean and fresh looking they were beyond nasty. I was just going to chalk the stains and marrs up to character, but they replaced and repaired boards and helped pick a stain that blended in the discoloration without being to dark two rooms needed new flooring mixed with the old and they feathered in the boards beautifully. They accomidated us with some extras that weren't in the schedule everyone was professional and polite and very informative. Thank you so much it looks brand new.
