My wife and I have been wanting to install a patio cover on our deck for several years but couldn't find a design that suited our needsOur deck faces north and backs on our family roomThe family room does not get enough light so installing a solid wood structure just wouldn't work We had just about given up when we discovered Lumon (patio Light Covers) The roof of the cover lets in the light but keeps the heat out which is exactly what we needed to enjoy our deck and maintain enough light in our family room
Since then Lumon met with us to design, build and install our coverWe requested a couple small changes after the fact which they were happy to do We couldn't be happierFrom the time we first spoke until the cover was installed we were very impressed
The quality of the materials and the installation itself were top notch

Very pleased with service and would highly recommend

We had a large "Natural Light Patio Cover" installed over our deck in the summer of and it has been simply amazingWe now use our deck extensively and whether it's sunny or raining and our "outdoor living" time has increased tremendously
Our representative Sibrand Sis excellent to deal with and, when we needed to call him to rectify something after the installation, the response was very quick and it was effetiently resolved We can therefore testify that Service is as important and effective as Sales with this company
I have since referred this product/company to several friends and they have all been very satisfied with their experience as well

I had recently purchased a condo in a popular neighbourhood in North York, Ontario and furnished my balcony with an Italian theme including murals of Lake Como and Positano, Cypress trees, silk flowers, grape vines with grapes, a sofa with white cushions and a red bistro set
After my first year of hard work of designing and decorating my beautiful balcony, I discovered that the rain, wind, snow and heavy traffic on the major highway nearby deposited uncontrollable dirt and grime onto my balcony floor, walls and furniture On windy days the strong winds turned my secured murals into kites and sailsI had fastened my trees to the balcony railings but even that couldn't stop the wind from blowing them sidewaysI felt I had no control over my environment
Then at one of our condominium meetings we were invited to consider Lumon window enclosures
I was thrilled with this idea and opted in to have my balcony fitted with the retractable windows
I am so pleased to have control of the weather on my balconyI can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the rain or snowIt may be windy outside but I can enjoy the calmness and relax on my balcony sofa The tempered glass has reduced the highway noise and I can now leave my balcony sliding doors open and have a conversation with friends and listen to my favourite music No more wind, dust, rain, snow or grime
On cool days when you would not dare sit outside, I can slide a few windows open and do my sun tanningThat's amazing! When I'm having a party in the summer, I can slide all the windows to the side and have full exposure to the world outside I would definitely recommend the Lumon window enclosures for anyone who wants to make better use of their outdoor space
The Lumon staff was extremely courteous and professionalThey take pride in their work and take action on your concerns I highly recommend Lumon for your balcony or terrace solutions

We recently had Lumon Canada Inc reface our deck with *** vinyl composite wood and install a Permanent roof structure over itThe quality of the product and the installation by the installers ( Jonathon and Doug) was beyond our expectationsA very satisfying experience from the saleman (Sibrand) to the installers thru the entire process

We had a great experience from start to finish. The salesperson who came to our house explained the product and installation process in great detail and we were left feeling very confident. The sales pitch was backed up by the product and installation.
We had a patio cover done and the product is amazing. The installation crew were very professional, polite, and responsive to our questions. Yes, we watched the entire process. It was followed up by a visit that night by our salesperson to check and see if everything was to our satisfaction. It was!!!!
Couldn't be happier.
