I first visited the Lung Institute in May 2014 with a diagnosis of acute bronchitis. I had the treatment done while there and I am off oxygen, and have gone from a 30% lung capacity to 63% lung capacity. Recommend anyone with COPD to contact them and discuss what they can do for you. Gave me back my life.

Not positive and disappointed. They told me results were not guaranteed so I was only hoping. Just over 4months and lung function has decreased. Thousands of dollars up front before first of 3treatments. After 2nd day of treatment was given paperwork RECOMMENDING their specific vitamins for "approx $600 and a booster shot mailed to the house, I think that was $175, AND only their nebulizer meds for 6 months...that was either &40 or $70 can't even remember which. There was a specific Doctor I was told would be there and never saw ANY doctor. Didn't even see a nurse until my last one minute of the final day and all that was "do you have any questions". About 5 weeks later I was waking up with pains in ribcage so I called my contact there thinking it may be a good sign and she said she would ask the doctor and get back to me. The third day I woke with same pain but lasted so lying I went to the ER and it turned out I had a heart attack. She never got back to me (Sarah). The next time I got a "follow up call" that started with " it's been 2 weeks since your treatment..." and it had been 3months. Turned out she was trying to sell the booster shot.

After that 2nd treatment vitamin push I figured I had been taken but I kept hoping...not as much for the doliar factor, more for the better health factor. I figure I'll try to maintain some sort of hope for about 2more months. We had taken out a home equity loan for this and will be paying that off even after my death.
