Luxe Luxury Labels took a consignment worth $7,000 plus from me in October 2019. After not selling more than a few of the items for thousands less than I bought them within four months, I requested items back -- they said they never received the email request. And after contacting them again in April 2020, I was yelled at by the owner and told after requesting the unsold items -- "Fine, I'll throw your stuff in the street for you to pick up! Legally it's our stuff now fyi." I never signed any contract stating such. Also, I was laughed at via DMs on Instagram and told my belongings were not good enough for them anyway and that no one liked me? I have been at the establishment all of three times in 2 years to consign items. The owner is terribly vulgar and rude to customers, and does not follow any legal protocol.
I am not even sure where to begin in regards to this complaint. The client contacted us seven months after consigning items with us which were in total $3,205.00 listed value not the $7000.00 she claimed. In the world of consignment after a certain period of time 90 days items expire if they are not picked up and this is clearly stated in our contract which is sent via email, the client responded to said email with acknowledgment. When she contacted me on a Sunday seven moths later during a pandemic no less I informed her we would pack up her items which luckily for her we held onto for five plus months after expiration, but that we were closed due to Covid 19 and we could address the return when we reopened. It was at this time she became aggressive, vulgar, threatening and beyond unhinged (I have all the correspondence in screenshots and am happy to send to you if needed). I have never in all my time been attacked in such a manor by anyone and it was completely inappropriate.
We have all been having a rough time with the current crisis we face and I am going to choose to believe she was having an extremely bad day and move on. I went in to my store the following day which again was and still is closed due to Covid19 packed her items and shipped, she has received them with no complaints. The lies in the above complaint are numerous. She has purchased items from our store and sent messages to say Thank You because she was so happy with them, I as an owner am NEVER rude to anyone its quite the opposite, I would never even think to tell a client I would toss their items into the street thats just nonsense. As far as legal protocols not being followed? again she was clearly just ranting and didn't feel the need to be accurate or truthful at all while doing so. She literally sent the complaint to you after messaging with me and being informed that I would be sending her items the following day since after seven months of leaving them she suddenly was desperate for them during a statewide stay at home order. Again I am happy to supply the exchange between *** and myself and you will see who was threatening and vulgar.
