Luxe Vacation Homes Reviews (4)

I was an Owner registered with Luxe Vacation HomesThey had license to rent my house at *** *** *** *** *** ** until Feb 28,
I am still owed $by Luxe from past bookings
Currently, Jan earnings are 60+ day past due and Feb earnings are days past due
I called Luxe several times and spoke to several people , getting several answers as to why not
My emails to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] typically go unanswered
Per my last call on 3/21/I was told that Luxe has to cancel the remaining reservation ID for Nov 2-Apparently, even though I had given Luxe notice to end my contract in early Jan 2018, this has not happened yetI was told that Luxe has tried to contact the customer to confirm cancellation, and they would not pay me until they talked to the customer
My ability to get paid should NOT hinge up someone else’s ability to answer their email
I had asked them by email ( April 1, 2018) to

Absolutely do NOT use the business Hopefully they are fully closed down and no more people are scammed by this Ponzi operation They don't deserve even one star

I was a homeowner with Luxe Vacation HomesI terminated my agreement with them due to many horrible things being done by this company They were suppose to manage my property and pay me for the rentWhen I went to see the property several things were problematicThe couch was broken and needs to be replaced,The owners closet lock was broken into, a bicycle was stolen, the golf cart charger plug was stolen, there was broken locks in garage, the lock on door in laundry room to side of house was broken, the window shade on door in master bedroom does not work, the umbrella and base in back yard was stolen and many other thingsI spoke to Justin Steubs, the president, and he said he would repair the things and pay me for the stolen itemsThis was NEVER doneI called numerous times to speak with him but he would never get on the phoneI was owed for the past tenants and requested paymentHe only sent me payment for of themI believe he is running a Ponzi scheme and using the rent money( which is not his) for his own personal things and needs other rent to pay meThis is the definition of a Ponzi schemeafter all this occurred I terminated my agreement with the companyHe still owes me for all the repairs, back rent, and stolen propertyDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JUSTIN S*** OR LUXE VACATION HOMES

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/02/01) */
We offered to move them for free to a luxury home that was bigger and more expensive but they turned us down. We did everything we could to rectify the situation but they did not care about our offer. The customer got a full refund for their...

booking in the amount of $6,386.00.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/02/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The above statement is both misleading and false. When they say "move us for free", what they mean is that they offered us the only property left in their entire portfolio, which should go to show just how "wonderful" it was, and even cited that it was less money so we would be receiving a "credit". They later offered another home through an agency which was more money but offered that they would "work it out" without any promise of what that meant. Both of these houses where in completely different cities than we originally booked and both were impossible based on our group and the layout of the homes. Neither had a room with two single beds as we needed and specifically requested when we made our original reservation. The second home which I believe they are referencing above was half outdoors with open access to a pool, not exactly ideal for a group with three kids 5 years old and under. Lastly, the second home was not even close in quality to the home we booked. It was only $50 a night more and had two more bedrooms. Again, proof that this was not even close to an upgrade as they make it seem.
With regard to their statement that we got a full refund, this did nothing to help resolve the problem that less than 2 weeks before a vacation we had planned for nearly 6 months, we were left with no where to stay at one of the busiest travel times of the year.
Additionally, since filing this original complaint, we began working and attorney to resolve this issue. When trying to contact Luxe for a response, we were repeatedly told that we had to speak to their attorney and were only given an email address with their domain. This combined with the fact that "Devon" was listed on their website as their attorney led us to reasonably believe that he was in fact their attorney. After weeks without a response, we were able to locate Devon, who did not work for Luxe, had no knowledge of the ongoing problem, and had NO access to the email address we were directed to. It is clear from this that the business had no intention of trying to resolve this matter, they were simply trying to send us to a dead-end email address in the hope that we would go away.
This business is operating in bad faith and clearly without any repercussions.
