To whom it may concern, I think this is a perfect Revdex.com case. False advertising and rude business replies and unwillingness at its best.In this day and age, false advertising is not something that is tolerated. Posting photos to your site showing things that were admittedly absent is not going to go over very well.Could have, should have, would have. That's what I see in the reply. You would think a luxury beach vacation website would include the fact you have to request air conditioning prior to your arrival. Also, what about the kayaks and bikes that were shown in the photos and then not "allowed" to be there once onsite? Also, you haven't addressed cursing and threatening me via private message. I don't need any more of your explanations, I need to be refunded and be done with "luxurybeachfrontgetaway".

ok we will fi it on the web sitealso this questions is for Revdex.com, can you please change the business address we no longer have our business address, that house was sold at the [redacted] address, it is now [redacted], or we have a farmingville address, let me know, can you tell me where I go to change the business address. Thank you

[redacted] checked in to one of our True Casual Beach Houses. We have Luxury beach Houses and True Beach Houses with The Joyce being one of the most romantic Casual True Beach Houses. We have a handy man on staff that would at any point come to the beach house and install the air conditioners...

that were sitting in a closet in the house. We have never had AC in this house before since no one ever asked to. the house is nestled in a dune with many trees. its kept cool but the last couple of years we decided to make a window unit available for June-Aug just in case. We are not sure why [redacted] waited to leave (only staying 4 hours) to say these things that could have been handled asap. We have so many happy great reviews on this beach house. We are sorry She Felt this way....

Review: Several months ago we took out a week long rental through LuxuryBeachFrontGetaways.com. We called to ask about the house we were looking to rent, "[redacted]," because we were looking to host an event. The agent we spoke to asked how many people would be coming and I estimated 15-20 people. After discussing it would be a short party in the afternoon they agreed. A few weeks later I requested the contract to be signed and noticed it said a maximum of 10 people could be on property. I called back to ask about the contract and again they asked how many people would be coming, this time I said "twenty plus" were expected and she said she was worried about "crowding the house", but when I said we would mainly be outside and by the beach she said it was fine. After the first payment my fiancee called to ask a few questions and again, confirm we were okay for this event and they assured us it would be fine.

My fiancee and her family from New Zealand had nothing but problems from the start. Other than the fact that the key was hidden and no agent was there to greet us and the follow up "tour" never happened. The house was in an abysmal state with mouse dropping all over the kitchen, a full fly strip hanging in the living room, almost an inch of dust on nearly every vent system (and we have photographs from 3 different people of all of this.) The [redacted] of the property lived next door and were constantly walking through the rental, including an indecent where a family member was out on the porch and confronted them on the matter and she was simply stated "I'm the [redacted]" as if the property wasn't being rented at all and we were expected to be okay with this. Not to mention the husband who "has mental problems" (as put by the agent) was constantly buzzing in and out of the basement on the side of the house while 4-5 women were living on this property alone. However this was tolerable to us, for the time.

Day of the event, we set up with no problems. The [redacted] watched as we unpacked tables and seats, we set up the bottom porch of the property and went undisturbed. At 5:30 we had a literal 15 minute ceremony on the beach while me and my now wife, said our vows on our supposed rented private property and then everyone returned back to the porch for the reception. Around 7:00 pm all the lights on the property start turning on and off, I go up stairs to investigate and see a large man leaving the property. My brother who was upstairs said "He" (the [redacted]) came over and started flickering the lights for no reason and when he saw my brother, just walked away. The party was over at 8:00 and we began packing everything up. A member from the party came to get me and tells me there's a woman demanding to see the bride, I go see what the matter is and the agent is ranting that the "state" had just fined her 1,500.00 because we had "trashed the beach", that no events are allowed on property (despite the fact it's advertised for bachelor and bachelorette parties), that she needed my credit card and we had lost the deposit. I said okay, we'd speak about this later, and she left frantically screaming we had lost the deposit.

Next morning while packing up, she knocks on her door with her partner and tells us she needs the money for the fine and tells us we had lost the deposit and that we were told no events. I told her that not only did I confirm twice, but my fiancee as well called and confirmed we were allowed this many people for an event. She began screaming she never said that, that they would never say that, that they had written proof otherwise (referring to the contract they said not to worry about) and I had none. They then told us we had to leave in a half hour (a full hour and a half shy of what our contract said we had remaining) and left.

The agents came back 5 minutes later with the [redacted] to confront the claims that they had been walking through the property over the week, her response was "I am the [redacted]" and I said "but I'm the renter, this was my property for the week" and she shrugged as if that meant nothing. I apologized to her for the misunderstanding and tried to tell her the agents had given us an okay for it for the last 3 months and one started screaming over us that it was a lie and asking the [redacted] "how long have you known me," other sensationalist remarks and during the rant confessed to the 6 members of my family that the house was "illegally being rented", which shocked all of us that we were renting an illegally rented piece of property. They then brought up that we need to pay the 1,500.00 fine, but when asked where this fine was the story was changed to they didn't actually have the fine, but that the "mayor lived two houses away" and they were expecting the fine, also now claiming that it was for trash under the deck, and then because we had a wedding on site. When my wife asked what the actual citation was for, one agent began ranting and never gave us an answer for the actual citation or whom it was from. We had done our research on the wedding matter and it is a 75.00 permit for a public beach wedding and there's no limit on weddings on private property. They told us we had to leave, told us we needed to remove our rubbish from the site immediately (we were no longer allowed to use their garbage system. Which we weren't going to, but she made it very clear we were to remove to rubbish) and preceded to harass us until we left the property an hour early.

We moved several houses down because another family member had purchased us a cottage for a honeymoon stay. Unfortunately though the same agency. They followed us to that one, screaming and ranting that the people who were helping us move in all had to leave and that the rubbish in my truck (because we had literally just left the other house and were trying to drop off out clothes) had to be removed immediately. A family member spoke up asking if we should even stay here and they said, "No. Your contracts now terminated." and told us to leave. As soon as a family member threatened to call the police their attitudes changed (again, they had confessed to us that at least one of these houses is illegally being rented) but despite the attitude change, we were harassed being told, "we were causing a scene" and "50 neighbors are outside watching," when we left no one was outside. A passing women smiled and said "Hello" to me and my wife as if nothing was long. We demanded a refund in writing for the cottage and its safety deposit. She wrote it down on a piece of loose mail but said it had nothing to do about [redacted]. I said we would handle that separately. Basically meaning we would settle the matter in small claims court if the Revdex.com was unable to help us.

Our event was short, incredibly humble, we picked up everything when we were done (again, pictures to prove this) and depite the claims of complaints from neighbors. We had a few beach go-ers drop by and give us blessings and congratulations, and even had one neighbor who came out the next day to see the ruckus they were causing tell a family member he "had no idea what they were talking about. He had no idea we even had a party." We spent 15 minutes on the beach and the rest on the porch. They made relentless threats about a fine they couldn't produce (including legal action) and harassed our even from turning off the power to harassing us as we cleaned up. We were completely in the guidelines of the rules but they kept our deposit regardless. Because this is supposedly an illegal rental operation, I'm not even sure if the Revdex.com can help me, but I'm hoping so because the next option is to bring them to small claims court.Desired Settlement: We want our 500.00 security deposit back. We stayed within the rules they set forward and to the contract that was signed other than the amount of people which states we need to mention it early on, which we did.

Review: Hi, Unfortunate circumstances happen often, but many unethical and ignorant people take it to another level and it just becomes malicious and violent. My personal experience with [redacted] and [redacted] via [redacted] began with my shelling out of a lot of $$$ to rent one of their misrepresented properties for 4 days. It was infested and very scary and we left after only 8 hours after arriving. So they began fabricating stories and flip flopping a lot of detail in an effort to not return my hard earned $$. So I just started to live with fact that these crooks will never return it. Then I wrote a review on [redacted] stating the facts. I learned through others that these 2 write their own reviews on their own sites as wells [redacted] & [redacted] in an attempt to lure honest citizens like myself. Yelp, however, is not controlled by them; so I felt this outlet was essential. They write under my review that they do not know "this person and SHE will have her review removed by [redacted] after we contact them." yet, they knew I am a she! A moment later, I receive a threat via [redacted] from them saying "if you do not remove that post, we will come to your house at [redacted] and your job." So I went to the Police in NYC, wrote messages to both gmail and [redacted] security and even filed an internet complaint form with the NY State Attorney General. I'm fearful because anyone who runs an unethical business practice and threatens people have the potential to do very bad things, to say the least. They should not be allowed to operate and continue hurting others in this manner. Prior to this threat was another one where she copied a faulty email "[redacted]" telling me to stop contacting her or her she will take this to her attorney as harassment. Any real attorney would spell "Attorney" correctly (not atorney) in their email address. Not to mention, I have a documented voicemail (which I sent her) that says in her own words saying she will return $$ paid.Desired Settlement: In addition to my refund of $1500, I would also like to warn consumers not to do business with unethical and fraudulent people like this.

Dear Revdex.com or to whom it may concern,

Review: No luxury was experienced when we checked into the "luxury beach resort property" expecting a nice and relaxing weekend. Once onsite, realized that it was extremely uncomfortable because there was no Air conditioning. I advised them of this and they said they do not install them until June. Okay, but in the interest of your clients and this being a luxury, wouldn't you have installed them since it has been warm here in the Northeast for the past two weeks? Also, I questioned that the photos showed kayaks /bikes and they were noticeably missing here. The response was that was an error on the website and they were not available. We left due to these conditions after 4 hours. Never even unpacked. The home was left unused. Owners were made aware of this, although the next day they had no recollection.Desired Settlement: I understand completely that these folks need to make money and we booked the home for 2 days. I am not disputing that. I complained and nothing was resolved and at 350.00 er night, I returned to me own home. Disputing cleaning/pet fee. We did not even have time to use the restroom or bedroom at any time. The home was too stifling hot, we stayed outdoors until deciding to leave.
