Installation estimated in 8 weeks.Dec 2014 - phoned company re: status of order. Calls forwarded to "new" customer service rep - [redacted] - in Connecticut.Jan 2015 - no word from [redacted] on status of order. Most calls not picked up; had to leave voice messages. Calls to NC office are forwarding to the CT phone number.Feb 2015 - no return calls to pleas left on company phone or sent to email address. Company office is vacant - avail. for rent. Other similarly-situated customers apparent on [redacted]'s [redacted] Called the Pennsylvania factory who was shown on the contract. The window maker has not been able to contact Luxury Exterior for several weeks and surmises that Luxury Exterior has gone out of business.Desired SettlementRefund of $450 deposit.

Complaint1 slider window that was installed is defective. 1 screen was installed with a hole in it. Calking inadequate.Installer broke rug .Discovered one of slider windows is defective.(2 [redacted] Window). [redacted] says the manufacturer is not manufacturing this window now. If that is true, an alternate , 2 windows can be used. this existing window cannot be repaired. The screen needs to be replaced that has the hole in it.The installer,[redacted], was shown both of these after the installation. He assured me they would be back in a couple of weeks with new window and screen. The installers did not calk the windows thoroughly. Several had cracks left so that one can see the outside from inside. This is not safisfactory. The installer's helper broke one of my outdoor door mats. It had to be thrown away. A replacement will cost $45.I have been playing phone tag with one of the owners of the company, [redacted] , since 7/31/14, when the installers finished. I signed the contract for these replacement windows on 5/6/2014. Luxury Exterior Solutions was paid a downpayment when the contract was signed. Another installment was paid the day the windows were delivered to my home and the last one when the installers finished. [redacted] has ignored this situation and promises to take care of it and does nothing until I call again and he says " I'll call you back tomorrow morning. " Tomorrow never comes. Please help me get this problem fixed. This business refuses to finish this job that they started in May 2014.It is now February 10, 2015Desired SettlementThe settlement I am seeking is as follows:If the slider window is no longer being manufactured, replace with 2 [redacted] Double Hung Insultec Windows, replacing frame between the two windows. The screen with hole in it to be replaced with a new one.All windows be checked and calked properly on all four sides. Otherwise, rain will rot wood under windows and will cause larger problems. The door mat will cost $45 to replace. I will get a replacement when given the money for it. (It was broken by one of installers).Replacement of windows & screen, as well as additional calk and materials to complete this job should all be done at the expense of Luxury Exterior Solutions. The aggravation of trying to get this company to honor their contract has cost me many hours of frustration and duress.I think it will be much easier to get this project finished satisfactorily if a diffferent installer is sent out..My husband's office has been without window treatments and in disarray since July when this window replacement project was started. We could not put back blinds and did not want to purchase other treatments since [redacted] stated the manufacturer is not producing that window now. We will be happy with 2 Double Hungs and take this one out.The wear and tear of not being able to put the room back together, as well as frustration of attempting to get this matter resolved without success has been a great hardship on us both. Compensation of $1500.00 cannot undo this hardship but would help us to not be quite as verbal about what a distasteful experience this window replacement has been for us.Business Response we will contact [redacted] the manufacture on the service once again plus make contact with the consumer to forward pictures so we can send them to the manufacture to take care of their service

Windows where never installed but charges were made on a credit card and I am requesting a refund made to the financial companyA contract was signed on july 2, 2014 to have windows install and was told that the work will start 7 to 10 weeks .Then two months have past and still not windows and everytime I contacted the company I will get a excused that there is a problem with the window supplier and they will contact me once they have another supplier to do the windows.another month went by an still no windows. In the mean time we continue to receive bills from [redacted] a financial company who we are financing the windows with requesting payments for the charges luxury exterior solutions made for the partial payment for the windows. So after months of trying to get the issue resolved to have our windows install we decide to just cancel our install for widows. And now we have this bill for the charges luxury exterior solutions made so we already filed for a dispute though the financial company .But because the charges were made after the 120 grace period it is our responsibility to seek reimbursement .But I have since a hard time getting in touch with anyone from this companyDesired SettlementI would like for them refund the money back to the financial company Business Response We have spoken to the customer and have emailed the finance company and a copy to the consumer that the customer wishes to cancel

This company has failed to finish the job for which we have paid. We have asked for 5 months for them to complete the job of replacing a shutter. We have called and emailed multiple times inquiring when this company would complete the job of re-haning a shutter that they removed to do a window installation. We had significant problems getting them to do the window replacement job on time, and now they continually have failed to finish the job for which we have paid 6-7 months ago. Desired SettlementWe are requesting a $250 refund to since we will have to pay to have this shutter re-installed and since Luxury Exterior Solutions has repeatedly failed to complete the job after multiple requests. Business Response We can have a third party reinstall the shutter if the consumer would likeConsumer Response We have been asking for you to complete the job for over 5 months now. Of course we want you to reinstall it. I do not care if it is done by a third party or by Luxury Exterior Soultions, the company who was contracted to complete the job to begin with. If it is not done within 1 week of this final request, after waiting for close to 6 months for you to finish the job for which you were paid, we will have the work completed and submit a bill to Luxury Exterior Solutions for the labor and hardware.

Signed a contract on November 18, 2013 to have 4 windows installed within a 6-8 week period and to date no windows have been installed. On November 18, 2013 I signed a contract with Luxury Exterior Solutions, LLC to have 4 two lite slider windows, 1 in the dining room, 3 in the living room installed. The price was to include labor, material and installation and double lifetime warranty. The total cost for the job was $3620. The agent from the company was [redacted]. The estimated starting date was 6 to 8 weeks from the date of the contract and estimated completion date was 2 days. I was told by [redacted] that upon credit approval there should be no reason for the windows to be in by Christmas no later than the second week in January. I expressed to [redacted] that the sooner I get them installed the better due to the broken and cracked glass in my windows where the cold air flows through so freely causing my heat bill to be extremely high.I received a letter from [redacted] dated November 19, 2013 congratulating me on my loan approval of $3620. On December 22nd I received a Statement that said I had a balance $3049.97, I could not understand how I could owe a balance and had no windows installed in my home. I contacted [redacted] and they explained that some vendors will withdraw on the funds to purchase the windows prior to installation. [redacted] explained that I had a payment of $49.97 past due from 12/16/13 and would waive the payment and extend the loan so that my next due date is 1/16/14. Since it was not 8 weeks I thought I would wait until January 16th, 2014 which would be the exact date from the signed contract on November 18, 2013. [redacted] also suggested I contact Luxury Exterior Solutions; which I did. I spoke with [redacted] the finance officer at Luxury Exterior Solutions who apologized and promised me that I would have my windows installed by January 31st, 2014 and he would make the payment due for February after the Martin Luther King Holiday (January 20, 2014). Today is February 26, 2014 fourteen (14) weeks and I still have no windows or contact from Luxury Exterior Solutions. I have been extremely patient and now have a payment past due for February because [redacted] did not keep his word. I have frozen the balance on the credit limit with [redacted] and at this time want to cancel this contract due to breach of contract. I believe that there practices are a scam and I want all funds extracted from the credit line returned so I can cancel the obligation with [redacted]. I prefer not to do any business with this company from this day forward and have contracted with another vendor to have the work done as a professional business would.Desired SettlementCrediting the loan balance in full of $3000 which they obtained under the pretense of doing the work but never did it Business Response We Have completed the install for [redacted] We have also credited her account in regards to the delays that we encountered. We purchased multiple windows and paid a $920.66 down payment. The windows were never delivered or installed, and the company kept our money.1. Signed a contract on 6/13/14 for 5 windows. The contact address on the contract is [redacted]2. Luxury Exterior Solutions, LLC contact for that contract date was [redacted], License No. [redacted]3. We paid a down payment of $920.66 in cash on 6/13/14. The estimated starting date was 6-10 weeks from that time.4. On 6/17/14 [redacted], from Luxury Exterior Solutions called me from (919) [redacted] to make an appointment for final measurements.5. We did not hear from the company in 6-10 weeks after that, rather we had to contact the company with multiple phone calls to inquire when our windows would be ready for install. [redacted] finally returned our calls from number 860-[redacted] on 9/26/14 to inform us that the windows were still not ready.6. After many more weeks/months of patience and understanding, we finally scheduled the install day, end of the year 2014. My husband took off of work that day to be at the house for the installers. They never showed up. They did not call us, they did not email us, they simply did not show up.7. We called [redacted] again after that day to attempt to reschedule another installation date. [redacted] told us that he didn't think the local company that made the windows would be able to follow through and produce the windows for us. Therefore, we asked for our down-payment back.8. After multiple phone call attempts by me and after multiple messages being left on [redacted]'s voicemail, he finally called me back and agreed that he and/or the company owed us the down payment price of $920.66. On 2 different phone calls, he promised me that the check was in the mail.9. We have not received our down payment check back, and [redacted] (and everyone at Luxury Exterior Solutions) has stopped answering our phone calls and will not call us back.10. I sent an email to the company on 3/14/15 through the Revdex.com website, formalizing our intention to pursue further means to expose this scam, and requesting the down payment money yet again. I have not received a response.11. Our contract (in front of me right now), says, "Luxury Exterior Solutions, LLC, hereby agrees to install or cause to be installed the products or services listed in this Agreement." This has clearly not happened.12. Our contract also reads, "In the event the Contractor determines that this Agreement can not be performed as intended by the parties due to unforeseen structural defects or pre-existing conditions to the Buyer's property, the contractor may cancel this Agreement within 30 days of its execution, notify the Buyer of such cancellation in writing and return all monies paid by the Buyer." We have not received any cancellation in writing, nor our monies back.13. Our contract also reads, "Contractor's Cancellation: This Agreement is subject to the Contractor's approval at Contractor's home offices. IF the Agreement is not approved by the Contractor, the Contractor may cancel this Agreement within 30 days of its execution, notify the Buyer of such cancellation in writing, and return all monies pain by the Buyer to Contractor, without any further liability or expense on the part of the Contractor to the Buyer." Again, we have not received any document in writing that the company has cancelled our agreement.14. We have NOT cancelled our agreement, or sent any such document in writing to Luxury Exterior solutions. We simply asked for our refund back, was promised this, and the company STOPPED RETURNING OUR PHONE CALLS OR EMAIL. They have exhibited a clear breach in contract.15. I have called [redacted] (the brand of window that was suppose to be installed) at [redacted] and spoke with management. The [redacted] company reported to me that they do not have a business relationship with [redacted], and that he also owes many other people money, including the [redacted] company themselves. Management informed me that my [redacted] never placed my order of 2014 with [redacted].Desired Settlement1. Refund of our exact down payment cost, $920.662. Seeking that Luxury Exterior Solutions be revealed for the scam artists they are, so that other hard-working consumers will not be prey to their indecent business practices.

We ordered new windows from Luxury Exterior Solutions but they did not installed them. They have verbally agreed to refund our deposit but have not.On August 1, 2014 we agreed to purchase new windows from sales person,[redacted], with Luxury Exterior Solutions. The total price for the windows was $2,200. We wrote a check for a deposit of $733. He said that he would schedule an installer to come measure the windows. Before the installer came, we decided to change our order and order different windows. Since we wanted to make a change in the agreement, [redacted] came back to our house on 9/9 and wrote out an amended agreement. The new purchase price was $2,750. We wrote an additional check for $187.00 for the deposit bringing the new total deposit to $920. Per the agreement, the windows would arrive in 8 weeks which would have been the first week in November, 2014. In mid-Nov, we called to find out the installation date and were told that the company was moving so there was a delay in the installation but the windows would arrive around Thanksgiving. We called the company multiple times to set up the installation but no time was set. On 12/2, [redacted] told us that the installation was scheduled for 1/3. We called to confirm the installation date of 1/3 and were told that the installation would now occur on 1/10. We called on 1/6 to confirm the installation of 1/10 and were told that the windows had not arrived. Mr. [redacted] said that there was an issue with the manufacturer but he was working to resolve it, and would call on 1/8 to confirm the 1/10 installation. He stated that if the installation was not going to happen that he would refund our deposit. On 1/8, Mr. [redacted] called to say that the windows were not going to arrive and that he would refund our deposit. He said that it would take 10 days for us to receive the check. The check should have arrived on 1/22/15. On 2/3, we wrote a letter to Mr. [redacted] asking for the refund that had been promised and have received no response and no check.
