These folks did my blinds in 2004 when I bought my home and I had called earlier today (11/02/15) to have them come out and give me an estimate on some other work I wanted done and some changes I wanted made.
In the course of talking I mentioned to the manager that I had a few small issues with the plantation shutters that were installed way back when, and that they were covered by a "Lifetime Warranty" , I was promptly informed that the "Lifetime" of plantation shutters "is about five years" and that no warranty would be available.
So how is a consumer supposed to interpret a "Lifetime Warranty"... I seriously doubt I still have their paperwork, but am going to get bids from other companies. This kind of thing makes me sick. They had n o record of me in their computer (although they did four years ago when I wanted to change colors of my vertical blinds!!)
This is the kind of thing that happens when a company becomes complacent about their reputation.
