L&W Supply

I always bought a lot of material with this company 317 COURTLAND AVENUE ,STAMFORD , since the former owners called jack, over the years it was sold, and when the management changed, they put a manager called Frank Domiziano and a secretary called nicole, who treats all customers very badly, screaming from inside the office with no respect for people, when I asked about delivery I didn't make any issue, certainly because I have a fixed salary, we had no value for customers, I have several friends who bought a lot of material there too, who I always found there , and they disappeared from there , and I called them and asked what happened , and they told me that they went to buy in other places because of the manager frank , and the secretary nicole who treated them very badly , I hope that with the new company , you change too these two people, look at the sales history of this company before the manager FRANK and the secretary who works on the second floor named nicole, you will realize how many customers you lost due to bad treatment and ,I hope change these people, because it don't suit the L&W

Deeply regret going with L&W Supply (Grand Rapids, MI) for UtiLite wall panels for our commercial medical facility. Nothing in the process was smooth... here are the main points.

1) We were overcharged

2) The order they delivered was completely inaccurate (i.e. wrong size, wrong quantity)

3) Approximately 20% of the materials arrived damaged

When a L&W rep came out to assess the situation, they advised us:

1) They would refund the overcharge

2) We needed to make the panels work by cutting them down

3) They would replace the damaged materials for free

After 10 months (read: not COVID-related, as this began in October 2019), here's what came of their repeated promises to "make things right":

1) They never refunded the overcharge

2) We had to eat the thousands of dollars in labor costs related to having the panels they erroneously sent cut down

3) They charged us for materials that they guaranteed would be provided for free, as replacements for the materials that arrived damaged

Currently, we are in month 3 of them telling us "the check is in the mail", so now we have to dedicate more of our time and resources to pursuing L&W in court. I hope sharing this saves someone else from the expense and headaches resulting from choosing L&W Supply. I will update this review if that months-old check ever shows up in the mail.
