Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I went to the ER sundayafter struggling dehydrated all week horribly ill I provided records documenting such They told me there was a bacterial infection needing treatment in the colon...and my daughter in law had the exact same experience, exact same time frame after eating the same dish at Chuys I reported later, because I was very ill over a month I could not get records to you because I have to work, and just to get through it on meds was very difficult I called when I could My first goal was to get well I am very disappointed that you did not read my initial report well I ve never had food poisoning, so I did not realize what was going on since I became so violently ill, and I even had to see my gp after getting out of ER, since the effect made me ill for months! The general manager of our Nashville location, [redacted] , has made direct contact with [redacted] regarding this complaint. He apologized for not following up to make sure the certificates were received. [redacted] is agreed to come back to Chuy's with some friends and give... Chuy's another try.The Area Supervisor, Wes Wilkerson, also talked with [redacted] and relayed his apologies for the lack of follow up. [redacted] knows to call Mr. Wilkerson if there are any further issues. We thank [redacted] for his concerns about the lack of follow up. We do hope he will consider visiting our location again.Thank you.

Our General Manager, *** ***, called and talked with *** *** today (November 16, 2017)*** said that *** *** indicated that he no longer works for Favor but that he thanked *** for getting back with him. They discussed the complaint. *** mentioned to him that
the host mentioned by *** *** in his complaint no longer works for ***’s. *** said he apologized to *** *** and invited him to come visit ***’s for a “date night” on us*** *** seemed happy with the responseThank you for making us aware of this complaint *** *** *** ***

We appreciate having the time to gather information from our insurance carrier, ***. Their investigation concluded that there was no known causality with the customer's illness and eating at Chuy's. The customer alleged that she ate at Chuy's on 8/1/and was ill but did not call the restaurant to report anything until 9/22/- over weeks later. We regret that she was ill, but there was no evidence that anything at Chuy's caused this illness

I am rejecting this response because:  It does not resolve the issue yet,  but  I am only given the option of accepting or rejecting.  I do understand you want time to gather information...I will await hearing from you, but I do not accept the treatment I have had thus far nor just using [redacted]'s opinion.  They never even acknowledged my records I sent and closed the case before I was well enough to get my records to them.  First instead of listening to what happened I was told chuys got no other complaints that night.  That is irrelevant-if one of my clients is concerned, it is not important that others are not.  The food poisoning was quite severe.  Whether your insurance company acknowledges it or not, understand I was in the ER with it and ill for months afterwards.  I believe the fair response is to cover my hospital bill, at least.  I had to follow up and see my GP because an additional antibiotic was needed.

I have asked our insurance company, [redacted], to give me more information on this claim, their investigation of the claim and the end result.  Once I receive that information from them, I will feel that I can better respond to [redacted].I do want to assure [redacted] that we are vigilant about our...

procedures for storing, cooking and serving all food items.  We take food safety very seriously. We regret that she was ill and we want to be able to review all of the information gathered by [redacted] in order to respond.Thank you,[redacted]Chuy's
