Review: Dispute over 2 DOS for $408 re services billed but not all provided by Dr. Lydia Arwin to myself and daughter for reasons:1.The cost of a new patient exam, xray and cleaning is advertised by Dr. Arwin on Brighter.com for $189. As such, I was willing to offer $189 to resolve my childs account, if I am taken out of collections and reported to the credit agencies as being satisfied/mistake. The office agreed to bill the insurance carrier and told me coverage was verified at the time of service but yet the provider is alleging coverage was cancelled.I also made a demand for the xray films I was willing to pay for be released to me.2.The cost of a new patient exam is $55 as advertised by DrArwin on Brighter.com. Also, I only had 4 bitewing xrays, which is advertised by Dr. Arwin on Brighter.com for $61. Payment was made by my insurance for $66.20. The most I could owe the provider is $55+$61=$116-$66.20 (payment)=$49.80-$29 (for PPO adjustment, per your ledger produced 10/2014)=$20.803.Accepting payment in the amount of $66.20 from my insurance should mean my account is paid in full since Dr. Arwin has agreed as a PPO provider to accept their fees for the services rendered. Nonetheless, I was reported to collections rather than my daughters father, my ex-husband, for the insurance he let elapse and was responsible for carrying for her. Child Support services is looking into this allegation that her coverage terminated 9/2013. They show she has coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield and/or Medi-Cal. I advised Dr. Arwin, the unreasonable actions taken by her office would be reported to the medical board or the Revdex.com, if she was not willing to accept the final offer as follows:$189 to resolve my daughter's account in full$21 to resolve my account in full=$210 to resolve both accounts in fullShe reported me to collections and damaged my credit score even though she said she verified insurance and was a PPO provider willing to accept their fees. Fraudulent Billing.Desired Settlement: 1.Dentist to accept my offer of $210 to resolve the accounts for me and my daughter in full2.Notify credit bureau issue resolved and was done in error to fix my credit report/score3.Provide me with the x-rays taken of my daughter on 10/28/13 and my x-rays taken on 2/13/14
