Sent: Monday, October 05, 2015 2:03 PM Subject: Complaint #[redacted] Importance: High To whom it may concern: I apologize for the delay in responding to your most recent message of 9/18/15. I somehow missed the email from 9/18/15 and I was out of town most of last week. Today I read your email from 9/29 and the following is my response: I did confirm a partial refund to Mr. [redacted] on check # [redacted] in the amount of $28.50 for the amount we calculated based on his monthly monitoring fees, the terms of his contract and time period of the required 30 day notice. But I am not going to argue with any customer over an additional $40.48 that he is contesting. It is not worth his time, my time or anyone at the Revdex.com to continue this exchange of accusations for that amount of money. He feels he is right, and we feel we are right based on the notice we feel was the final and effective date of termination of service, less the 30 days required notice on his contract. But today however, an additional check in the amount of $40.48 is being mailed to Mr. [redacted] which will cover the balance of the amount for August and September which is refund amount he is asking for in his most recent complaint response. In consideration of this I ask that all details of this complaint are removed from public record in its entirety. Please call or email me with any additional questions. note that service was provided through approximately half of the 3rd calendar quarter before Mr. [redacted] ever even sent in his written request to cancel service, which by contract requires 30 days written notice (copy attached).   Even though we did not get his official written notice until August 13, 2015 saying he was going with another company, in an effort to please Mr. [redacted] we actually sent him a refund check for the time period Sept 3 to Sept 30 2015---10 days prior to the end of the 30 days notice. BUT he wants the entire quarter refunded----EVEN  the time period during which we provided monitoring service starting July 1----the beginning of the 3rd quarter. His account was monitored and was on line to our central station until 8/13/15 (the day his final notice was received) and was only marked off line on that date. This request is not only unfair, it is ridiculous that he is asking for a refund for a period of time for which service was provided, almost 6 weeks before he sent in his written request.   PLEASE review the attached documents which will show that we are being fair with Mr. [redacted] and let us know if you have further questions. THEN we respectfully ask that you remove all aspects of this fraudulent and unnecessary complaint from your records and make sure it does not reflect poorly on our company. I have NOT any refund nor any letter of refund to be posted to me. Furthermore, I have a copy of my e-mail through GMAIL dated August 1, 2015 cancelling the contract. They claim of receiving my notice on August 13, which is untrue. What happens in their office is beyond my control. Buy they had received my e-mail as well as my call on August 1. Being this day as Saturday, I had also left the message on the voicemail for Suzy [redacted] in their office. Besides, I was asking for a refund for which they did not provide service, namely August and September 2015.
