Lydia Taxi Service

On this morning's trip to my pharmacy, I had my first robber taxi driver. He was very friendly and we had a nice conversation on the way. When I tried to pay him, he told me the credit card device wasn't working and he needed my debit card. I gave it to him and he entered the info. He gave me a receipt for $9.70 without the usual info such as his taxi number, date, mileage, etc. It just saids Lydia Taxi Service. I kept asking him how he was going to enter the $3.00 tip, and he said not to worry about it.

So, I went into the pharmacy and picked up my meds. The staff and I joked about how much he actually entered, and I said he was probably off to Florida by now on my debit card. I told them that when I got home, I'd check my bank account online and see if I was charged $9.70 or something else. Well, the b[censored] gave himself a $20.00 tip. $29.70 was charged to my bank.

Took a cab may 29th 2020 at 9: 00 am from columbus avenue @ 90 th street to 690 park avenue. The car was filthy, no partition, no driver id. I was immediately suspicious. I asked for a receipt for my fare of $13.50: my bank account was charged for $23.50. Shame on you!

Review: After taking the taxi, I was not only overcharged (charged $20.50 for a fare from [redacted] to [redacted] at 5am in the morning with no traffic on Friday, 1/**/15) and then I was charged an additional fare of $15.60 to my debit card when I checked my bank statement the following day.Desired Settlement: I would not only want my money back, but if possible I would like the company to explore the incident to try and find the responsible driver to reprimand him appropriately. I would like a call or email telling me how this was resolved.

Review: Took Lydia Cab Service (posing as a NYC Taxi) from [redacted] to [redacted] on Sunday evening around 1AM. After reaching my destination, the driver informed me he could only take credit card and swiped my card, showing me a meter rating of $18 and change and did not offer me a receipt. When the charge posted to my account however, he had actually swiped the card for $29.90.Desired Settlement: Charge refunded to my account.
