Handyman Connection has attached the contract which shows the customer signature saying she was satisfied with the work completed and she also initialed all the line items indicating they were completed.Therefore Handyman Connection has completed its obligation and fulfilled the contact as agreed
uponAs the work on bathroom was nearing completion and the said toilet had been installed, the customer requested a bidet unit be attached to the toiletSince this additional work was not on the original agreement, the Handyman Connection craftsman told the customer there would be an additional charge and in order to install this bidet feature (running the additional water supply lines (for warm water) plus the electric for the unit to function)The customer was told the charge would be $500-$primarily to run the hot water line and electric to the toiletThe customer chose not to pay this and instead installed the bidet themselvesSince the customer altered the toilet by installing the bidet, Handyman Connection was taken the position that they voided their warranty on this portion of the projectLine item O on the contract states that if someone other than Handyman Connection completes work on our installation, the customer understands that Handyman Connection will not pay, reimburse, or guarantee the work.Handyman Connection does not consider this a valid complaint and has offered to make the repair for a minimal charge

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Handyman Connection HAS in fact, been to my home since project completion and assessed the leakRick made NO mention of the bidet- He stated that the leak was due to a loose bolt on the tankHe tightened this bolt , supposedly ( I was not in the room)It leaked again the next dayThis leak is in no way involving the bidet- it is leaking on the opposite side of the toilet - from the BASE of the toilet- this indicates a problem with the toilet seal/ wax ring installedThe craftmans himself would know thisThe efforts to ignore the poor workmanship is astoundingI've sent the manager multiple emails regarding the poor work Rick and Rob have done with NO responseThis contract that Handyman has responded with is an ALTERED contractWhy don't they send the original one? They changed the original contract , detailing only things they wanted to doI signed it under the premises that this was simply an agreement to changing some plumbing work (as Rick said)I was tricked into signing their altered contract and I will not settle for a "voided warranty"If this bidet had anything to do with the reason for why this toilet is leaking from the BASE of the toilet, then I'd understandBut this is not the caseI've attached a photo of the Bidet (It is not at all leaking)

Handyman Connection is working to schedule another craftsman to determine the issues with the lightAdjusting the latch on the door and replacing the wall plate will also be addressed
