Review: I had been a member of this gym and I sent in a cancellation letter in June. When I did this I requested a phone call confirmation, which I received from a woman who works there. Now, I received a call on 10/*/13, stating that I have an outstanding balance of $90.00+ that has went into collections. The clerk who called me confirmed that the last time I had been to the gym was in May. I am okay with eating the bill for June since that is when I sent in my cancellation letter, but if I had not been there since, because of a car accident that happened at the end of May, I have not incurred any cost to them by not going and I should not have to go through the hassle of paying a balance. I was informed that if I resent a cancellation letter, it would not be honored because I have the $90.00+ in collections.Desired Settlement: I will pay the fee for June, but since I had not been in there since May, I refuse to pay for the other months they are trying to charge me.

We have no records of any cancellation letter which is required to be sent certified mail as per our membership agreement to terminate any membership.
