Review: My mother, was in the facility for three weeks in March. while there, she paid 18.00 to get a wash and set. The stylist, instead cut her hair very very short. Not having a mirror, my mom did not know that, but she was very upset that her hair was all cut off. Then, she was taken back to her room and just left in her chair all day while she called for help and was ignored. Her appointment was at 12:30. She is suffering from MS and cannot sit long because of weakness and pain. She sat there until they brought her dinner. Then, someone finally got her out of the chair and back into bed. In the meantime, she sat there, unhappy about her hair, suffering in pain and weak from sitting so long. She was there anywhere from 3 to four hours. When she left the facility, she was weaker, still had the infection she had entered with, and she was severely dehydrated. She cannot use her arms much and the water was put way to the side of the bed where she could not reach it. When I would go there daily, her lips would be cracked and dry from thirst. She also lost 5-6 pounds while there. for 111 pound woman to drop to 105 in only 3 weeks, that is shameful. Because of dehydration her blood pressure was very low. 90/58. She would often suffer fainting spells until we got her blood volume back up.Desired Settlement: They promised to refund the 18.00 but as of May 7, they have not done it yet. Director said he would mail it next week. If refund is not received as promised, I would like the 18.00 refund. I want The rest of the complaint to be kept on file. This kind of treatment should not happen to anyone, let alone a completely disabled person who cannot care for herself.
