Review: Upon entering this business, I approached the guy at the counter ( [redacted]) and informed him I wanted someone to check my tires because I just recently purchased them brand new from them a coupe months ago and I wanted to be sure it was no issue with the tires. After waiting in their waiting room for about 30 minutes I approached the sales counter after I saw my car parked out front. When I began speaking with the guy he informed me that I needed to pay $16.99 for the part and labor for the repair done to the tire sensor of my car. I informed him that I did not asked that any part be replaced. I simply asked them to assess the brand new tires I just brought due to having to put air in one of them every other week. He then informed me that he can't go back and take the part off. I told him that was very poor customer service to not inform me prior to making repairs to my car and asked if there was a way we could disregard part of that price since it was not discussed prior to making the repair. He then said he could charge me for the part only. I stated that would be fine. When I handed him my card, he jerked it out of my hand very forcefully. I then asked if that was necessary. He said he needed my card so he took it from my hand. I told him I had no problem paying him but I did have a problem with the manner in which he took my card from my hand. He then threw my card on the counter without sliding it for payment. I asked if I could speak with a manager and he turned around and said he is sitting right there. I then asked the Manager, [redacted], if he felt it was a problem for his employees to forcefully [redacted] credit cards from customers. He then said I was sitting right here and heard the entire conversation. Again I asked if he thought that was poor customer service. He responded b saying ma'am I don't know what you want me to do. I them asked for the phone number to the owner. [redacted] provided me with the number to the owner, who proeeded to say sorry for your experience, I don't hear this often. I'm sure they are sorry. I do no feel that is very good customer service from the sales associate, the manager, or the owner.Desired Settlement: Not sure what needs to happen but things like this need to have consequences to ensure no other customers will experience this type of poor customer service in the future.

I have purchased several sets of tires at the Madison Heights location. I have put the on my 4 wheel drive, my mother's car and brothers car. Also, I have referred many other family members and close friend. My first issue with Lynchburg tire happened in 2013. I purchased 4 new tires, [redacted], I didn't have them no time at all well no where near the miles they should have gotten. They separated and I was given money off for new tires. I was fine with that, the manager was great at the Madison Heights location, always is. Well, I unfortunately purchased another set. I have rotated, always kept a check on pressure and one of them on the rear was showing wire. So, I stopped by due to the fact the others were fine, what was going on. Also, the tire had separated again almost looked like a recap. The store had 4-5 customers waiting for their vehicles. When I asked him to come outside to look at the tire, he acted like it would kill him. As we walked out the door, He turns around and says to the other customers “Wish me luck”..... For what reason? So I turned around and said “Does your company sell 2nds. Hey fair is fair. Well, [redacted] wouldn't even look at the tire. I also had TWO children in the car. I was going to purchase 4 tires that day if they had time... Not now. I called Lynchburg store and spoke to [redacted]. He says he is the manager. I explained what happened and told him this guy was a rude man and a [redacted]. He says he won't listen to me talk like that. Whatever. I now want the owner to call me. He asked me what the guy looked like, I told him he was an older man with a military cut, gray hair short, Kind of scruffy looking. He looked as if he had not shaved in a couple days. He told me not to call his son scruffy. Turns out it wasn't his son. I knew that already. I have dealt with his son and he has always been Very helpful and kind... Long story short. He told me he would call me back, pretty much acted as if it was my fault for the encounter with his employee. I could come back the next day and talk to the manager I liked or Monday his son would be there. Did I go back...Ummm, NO. Will I go back NO. I would love to have actually gotten to speak with the owner. They wouldn't transfer me or tell me who it was. I know now, its [redacted]. I would love to hear what he would say. I understand I am not the only customer. I just wanted him to look and see what could be done...Didn't happen. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I have also told my family and friends the way I was treated. They won't go either. I did purchase a brand new set of tire, more reasonable, friendly service and closer to home.

Review: I went to Lynchburg tire to get a tire repaired on a lawn mower. The cost to install an inner tube was 7.50 since I had my own. the employee took off the wheel with the one bolt that holds it on without any problems. He installed the tube. He went to install the tire using a large ratchet that would typically be used on larger bolts and he started reinstalling the bolt. when it got tight he applied even more pressure breaking the head of the bolt off in the axel. he told me he would work on getting it out. 30 minutes later a manager came out to the waiting area and told me to take it to a lawn mower shop to get it fixed. I explained to him that the bolt was broke when he reinstalled it and it was their fault. I explained bolts break sometimes when taking them off but they only break when putting them back on when u put them too tight. He then charged me 24 dollars and I asked him why he said for 30 minutes of labor. The 30 minutes was charged for him trying to get the bolt out that HE BROKE. I should have only be charged 7.50 for installation of the tube at most!Desired Settlement: refund of 16.50 credited back to my visa card. And reimbursed to have the bolt removed
