Complaint ID: ***Dear ***,June, 2016I am writing in response to your letter dated June regarding client complaint *** made by *** *** On Mr*** wife, *** *** emailed wanting a detailed accounting of the purchases she made through my business
for the past yearsI responded on 5/15/by email with detailed receipts showing the item#, quantity and price per unit for each item purchasedCopies of her initial request and myreply with the attached invoices are enclosed. On Ms*** made a second request for the information I had previously providedA response was not provided. On Ms*** made a third requestI responded on 5117116@ 10:am advising Ms***that I had provided all the information that is our policy to provideAt 11:Ms*** responded by threatening to "pursue further action"I responded back at 13:by providing her with my attorney's name and contact number "Should you wish to pursue this issue further"Copies of the ensuing conversations enclosed. At 14:that same day Ms*** emailed to say that she had contacted my attorney and proceeded to threatened to report me to the "Revdex.com, and a letter to the local paper".When Ms*** made her original request I responded promptly and politely, providing her with the information she had requestedThroughout our correspondence, I remained polite and respectfulI did not threaten legal action as claimed in the complaint: rather, it was Ms*** who threatened to "pursuefurther action".For three years have successfully completed numerous projects for Ms*** and enjoyed having her as a loyal clientI find it hard to understand how years later, after years of satisfied service, a complaint about a job long since completed and upon which complete satisfaction was many limes communicated (through email and online review) has been filedI suspect that the complaint, in fact, has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of goods and services provided.I look forward to your determination Respectfully, Lynda M***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards,[redacted] The response from Lynda Myers is full of inaccuracies.  What we have asked for - simply -  is a list of fabrics (vendor, color, pattern) used in projects throughout the house.  Six projects (not three years' of projects) This is simple, readily accessible information for Myers.  She has been obstructive, petty and passive aggressive - sending impartial information.  I want to work with another designer using fabrics already used.  She took the time to send invoices that have no useful information.  Then she cut up small pieces of fabric (again no use) and Fedexed them to our home. Then she told me to contact her lawyer, which I happily did.  He advised that this is not a legal matter.  Lynda continues to use her lawyer as a means of defense. She has said she will not reveal this information.  I asked why.  She said she was not willing to reveal why.  Then she pulled the "proprietary information" card, in desperation.  Fabric books are not proprietary. Ever more desperate she tried to argue she designed the project and charged me no fee for the design.  I simple ordered blinds and other soft furnishings through her.  She did not design the project, she did not design the fabric.  She ordered the items for me.  And made her cut through the vendors.  What is unacceptable (other than her unprofessional conduct) is charging clients for fabric she then keeps and uses or resells herself. After a month of obstructive, unprofessional and petty avoidance, we submitted a complaint to the Revdex.com. We have no choice but to assume her refusal to tell us the fabric information is because she does not want us to work with another designer.  Secondly, since she will not reveal the amount she charged us for fabrics - yardage in particular, I asked for - versus the amount each project used, she has revealed to us that she routinely overcharged us for projects - keeping hundreds of dollars of our fabric for herself (to sell on to other clients or to use in personal projects).Lynda, sadly, has delusions of grandeur - thinking that her business is run in a clear manner - when in fact she refuses to give clients simple information.  She behaves in an imperious manner to all her clients.  I did not enjoy working with her, but ordered items through her. I enjoyed working with her assistants who are all lovely.  Her response to the Revdex.com shows her lack of respect for clients, proper business practices, and for the Bureau itself. She has mentioned a "third party" in these matters. Another avoidance tactic.  Easy to blame a mysterious third party - rather than admit you see your "loyal" clients as an opportunity for ill-gotten profits.  A sad state of affairs when a business owner can't make the profits through legal or ethical means. What we want is a list of fabric vendors for the blinds and chairs and headboard - color and pattern.  We would love to see how much she ordered and how much we actually used.  There will be a huge discrepancy in those amounts.  We would like a return of the excess fabric or a dollar amount to reflect the discrepancy. I believe other clients should know about this rogue behaviour. This matter remains unresolved.
