Dear [redacted],As I had mentioned to you in our e-mails back and forth to eachother...it would be nice if you'd come back for your "touch-up" appointment...as stated to you verbally as well on my website and as well as on the Consent Form,ALL permanent makeup procedures include a "touch-up" procedure...

to "finish off the details" of the procedure, if needed.   It's not fair to comment on the "finished" results, when in fact the "finished" result was neverfinished because you wouldn't come back for me to "finish" it.  However, when you left after the first application of color, it was a beautiful eyeliner procedure, anyone would have been more than delighted even afterthe first application.  I never send my clients out the door unless their permanent makeup looks really good and they are happy with it.   I am a perfectionist and I cannot operate any other way.   I also "listen" to what my clientswant, you said you wanted an eyelash enhancement on your lower lids, which was very soft and natural looking...and I'm sure you noticed the softening effects even more during the healing week.  Again, I know it turnedout beautiful.  I'm sorry you felt rushed, perhaps you felt this way since I was not expecting you when you walked in the door.  We did NOT have a scheduled appointment to meet that day, at all.  You indicated you left a message on myphone the same day you drove to my office, although I had not yet checked my phone messages, and if I had received your message, I would have asked you to come a different day.  Again, nothing was scheduled, so I tookthe time to fit you in...in all honesty, you know you received a beautiful eyeliner procedure.   I never rush through any procedures, ever.  Again, it goes against my grain.  If I ever run late during the day, it's only becauseof my attention to detail and my client's attention to detail, as I work as a "team" with my clients.    This is "permanent" and I treat it as "permanent".    I do not take any chances nor do I do mediocre work, ever.Again, [redacted], I stated in all of  my e-mails to you, I JUST WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY!  And, to let me know what I should do to make you happy!  So, whatever it takes to make you happy I will do.  If you want a fullrefund I'll do just that.  I'll refund you in full....even though you had never had a "scheduled" appointment with me, and even though you did not allow me to "finish" your procedure with a "follow-up" procedure, as again,stated verbally and in writing, should happen.  Regardless, you will receive a full refund of $495, plus a beautiful eyeliner procedure, as you currently have.  I just want peace and happiness for you, and all.I will mail a check for $495 to your address at: [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

The woman had her 20-some year old daughter who took a 2 day class preform my eyelash extension procedure. The woman glued my natural lashes together as well as the extensions into large clumps. The material she used was made if stiff cheap plastic that was pkly and unnatural. They quality and appearance was similar to gluing hedgehog quills to your eyelids. (Note: the cost of natural human lashes is marginal and non-permanant lash extensions can be bought for roughly $2.50 and have a far greater quality.)

The younger girl did not have the appropriate professional credentials to preform an eye lash extension and drastically messed up the procedure. It resulted in many of my eyelashes becoming glued together and a large portion of natural lashes being ripped out in clumps after a single evening. The experience was very painful and I had to be prescribed an antibiotic because I am at risk for a staph infection in my eyelash cuticles.

When I called [redacted], her mother, for assistance she refused to help and claimed their business did not have the supplies necessary to remove the extensions. I was not asking for my money back or any free procedures, I simply wanted the painful lashes removed, no matter the cost, but she continued to argue and did not agree to help.

If you would like professional care do not seek Lynn Duncan's services. Her credentials may seem professional, however, she allows her younger daughter without appropriate credentials to preform procedures.

The customer service was more than substandard - it was particularly rude, patronizing,, and completely inappropriate for a professional.

Ive seen [redacted] for her services on a few separate occasions and I have nothing but praise to say about her! She always took the time needed to answer all my questions and most importantly, she made sure that I each time I left, that I left a happy client.

[redacted] was always very patient with me, never made me feel rushed, answered all my questions, and was very attentive to details to ensure I was more than satisfied with each visit I had with her. She always made sure I was comfortable during our visits and I am confident that if at any time I had a concern (which there wasn't), that she would've immediately address it as soon as it was mentioned to her.

[redacted] does a wonderful job at what she does! She is very talented in her artistry and is an absolute pleasure to work with! [redacted] doesn't stop doing her job until your pleased with her work and that's hard to find nowadays - I would give her 10 stars if I could!!!

Review: I ended up meeting with [redacted] on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 around 1 pm. Before I arrived, I had called her and left her a message earlier that day, mentioning that I was interested in permanent eyeliner. I wasn't sure what I wanted done and I would like a consultation. I never received a call back, so I decided to drive out that way, hoping that she could squeeze me in for a consultation. When I was in the waiting area, one of her current customers told me that she was always busy and was always rushing around. When she was done with her current customer, she came up to me and showed me some examples, everything was very quick and very rushed. The consultation was probably 2 minutes. She did not thoroughly discuss the procedure or what my options were. She was also very pushy and convinced me to get bottom eyeliner done, it was not something I even wanted, but she moved me along and did not give time to think about it and so she did top and bottom eyeliner. Right away she had me sit down in the chair and didn't even give me the chance to take my jacket off. The entire procedure seemed bizarre, she did not give me a mirror throughout the procedure to check on the progress of the eyeliner, or to even see if I liked what she had done. I was made to feel that she wanted to get me in and out as soon as possible. Even towards the end of the procedure she said, oh I missed a spot! At this point I thought she would give me a mirror to look at the spot, but she didn't even give me the chance to look at the spot she missed! She just added more color. The procedure was $495.00 and that was after I presented a $100.00 coupon. When I went home, I immediately started crying and cried the entire week. The left top line was thicker and longer than the right and the bottom right had a lighter and shorter line than the left. The color on the right side was lighter than on the left. None of it was even. On her website she claimed that her eyeliner would be perfect and even on both sides, my procedure was not the case. I called her the next day to discuss this with her. She said that I could come back in and add more color. I did not want more color, I wanted it removed. I thought I would give myself some time to calm down, so I waited to call her back. When I did call her back I asked her if removal, or partial removal was an option. She said it was not an option. I asked her again, she said it was not an option. Then I said partial removal is not an option? There has got to be a way to remove it, there has got to be a way. She said that it was not possible to remove it. At that point, I requested half of my money back. She kept asking me to come back in to have more color added. She was very pushy and persistent. I told her over and over again, I did not want more color, that is not what I wanted, I just wanted half my money back. At this point, after asking for half my money back several times, she finally said that partial removal was an option and that I could come back in to have it partially removed. I was in shock, she told me that partial removal was not an option, but after asking for half my money back, she changed her mind and told me that partial removal was now an option. We emailed back and forth for several weeks, discussing the same thing many, many times, until finally I gave up. She would not agree to give back to me half of what I paid for the procedure.Desired Settlement: I originally requested to get half of my money back which I believe is a fair and honest request for both parties. Due to the following circumstances, I am now requesting a full refund.

She scratched my cornea with the repeated careless application of eye ointment. I flew from Colorado and spoke with her on the phone 3 times before my appointment. I arrived and she wasn't at her office. When I phoned she said she forgot because she was fixing the deck at her house. After a rushed appointment, I barely made my return plane home. The upper eyelash enhancement was excruciatingly painful which I think she did on purpose after I was so angry for her forgetting my appointment. (I since then had a lower eyeliner done and I didn't feel any pain at all. The color she choose is one which fades quickly. I wouldn't wish this person on my worst enemy.
