I replaced the mass airflow sensor in my Murano after getting lean mixture codes on bank and bank Everything was fine for exactly week Service engine light came on again Same codes reported I thought there may be an intake leak I couldn't find it, if there was one
Dropped the car off at Lynn Layton Nissan's service department on 6/29/and told them what was happening The service writer told me it would probably be late that afternoon or early Monday morning before they could look at it and that they would call me with whatever they found I never heard back from them on Friday or Monday I called the service department around pm on Monday, 7/2/only to find that now the car was issuing a totally different code related to a solenoid on the transmission valve body
Service department recommended replacing the transmission as it was just a little more than the valve body On 7/3/I called the service department and told them to go ahead Also I asked for an itemized breakdown of the repair costs The service writer indicated that the work should be completed by 7/13/ I called the service department around 2:pm on 7/to see if I could get a status report I was put on hold for about minutes The receptionist picked up and informed me that the service department was currently busy with other customers I left my name and number for a return call The service department advertises that it is open until 5:pm One would think that there would be time for a minute phone call to say we are working on it and should be done by XXXX No one called back Thursday afternoon, all day on Friday, nor prior to 1:pm on Monday (today) I finally got the Service writer on the phone this afternoon only to be told it should be finished by Thursday (7/19)
This is supposed to be a service department I work in a service industry as well, and if it requires that I take a few minutes extra to take care of a customer, even if it is after "business hours" I make the call I probably would not be as unhappy with Lynn Layton Nissan's service department if I had been communicated with I shouldn't be any more important than the next customer, but I should be at least as important This is my first and will be my last experience dealing with this service department I will take my business elsewhere in the future

Went in for oil change and the oil pan threads were stripped in the process of changing oil
The car didn't have an oil leak on May when entered service department for oil changedI was told it had an aftermarket plugThe plug should have not caused the pan to be strippedThe car is a gInfinitiThe repair cost would be oil pan replacement plus labor

I purchased a CPO car in July and was only given one key at signingI asked if the car came with a second key, I was told it did not
I purchased a CPO car in July and was only given one key at signingWhen I asked if the car came with a second key, I was told it did not, and was informed the cost of the second key would be over $to get oneAbout months ago, my only key fob stopped working and I had to go to the same dealership to get a new battery for the fob (which is still under warranty) and was charged $for a new batteryLast week I called Nissan Customer Service and explained the situation to two individuals who said that someone would contact me regarding this issueI spoke with *** from Consumer Affairs on Thursday the 20th, who explained that if no one contacted me by the 24th of July (Monday), I should call her backI've since left two messages for her *one yesterday and one today* on her voicemailI've still not received any phone call from

The team at Lynn Layton is tremendousIn fact, they are so nice that I come all the way from Nashville to buy from themThey understand my needs and respect my timeThey have a great selection of new and used cars and they treat you with complete respect from the time you contact themMy wife's lease is up in December and we will definitely come back to get her next car from Lynn Layton

The service department is the sorriest i've ever seen at a dealership. My mom had the timing chain replaced on a 2007 maxima and it took 2 weeks at a cost of over $2600! Afterwards, the a/c broke, done during the previous repair. And now the car leaks fluid from multiple spots. it didn't leak before the timing chain replacement. Her garage floor is dirtier than a quick lube. Today the alternator died and they want $800 to replace it! I found a reputable shop in town who will do it for $350. I would NOT recommend this service center!
