My family had to moved out after the apartment got flooded on June 28 and 29th, 2014. The manager promised to pay moving expenses back.On June 28/29th, 2014, the 3-bedroom apartment on [redacted] Ct got flooded. The manager asked to move out of the apartment because the structure was wet and promised to pay moving expenses if we decided to move out of the complex or move to another unit. We decided to move out.I have been in contacted with them since July 22nd, 2014 to get the expenses back and just heard excuses. I also want the refund for a damaged bookcase. The renters' insurance denied the claim because this incident was bound to happened. Water has always been backing up in the patio since we moved in on April, 2014. I have pictures of several storms. This is a chronic problem that Lynnfield Apartments has and they do not fix. It was so bad that this water infiltration affects the AC that blows mold spores in all rooms. I would wake up with red eyes every morning. The electric transfer fee from[redacted] was promised to be paid.I want to claim the electric bill difference between June and July because the management installed 3 industrial dehumidifiers in the wet areas which consumed a huge amount of energy but one week later it rained again, the back patio got flooded and wet the building structure. The carpet cleaning equipment rental from Home Depot because the maintenance showed up at 3 pm and we decide to take this emergency with our hands.The half of non-refundable pet fee refund because the Lynnfield Apartment did not fulfill the 10-month contract. Due to the heavy rain, the resident did experience water intrusion. The resident was given the option to move on-site or to move-out altogether. Ultimately, they chose to move-out altogether. Due to the inconvenience, resident's were assured that only moving expenses would be covered. The resident was emailed and phoned regarding refund, that has yet to be picked up.
