Review: My complaint is about I came into this place for service of suprr curve nails and recieve different service of natural curve she then applyed them it wasnt till I got home I was like hold up this isnt what I wanted so I called her the next she told me to wait two weeks because it will hurt if she took them off now I waited and went in 7/23/2014 yesterday and whole another excuse oh I thought you were refering to the a fill in im like what then she says oh I said ill make more curver so this lady ripped me off I came in for a service and something entirely differentDesired Settlement: 25.00 refund

We, Lynn’s Hair and Nails, have received your letter indicating a customer complained regarding a service we provided. I have noted her complaint, the facts as they appeared and a response to your letter. The complaint noted in your letter is as follows:

On 7/24/2014 [redacted] came into our shop for a full set of acrylic nails. She asked for a set with a natural “curl” but one that was “not too curly”. [redacted] was shown the different tips that are available and by hcr own choice selected the tips that were applied. These were set and completed according to her request. She did not mention anything at the time of completion and left the shop with no complaints or concerns when asked how she liked them.

One week later, [redacted] called to complain that the thumb nails were not “curIy” enough. We advised her, as we do every customer, that a full new set of acrylic requires a fill about every 2 weeks, so when she returned for a fill we could change out the thumb nails because acrylic is not only difficult to remove when newly applied it can be painful to the base of the nail. Therefore, waiting until the base of the nail grows out to change the tip is preferred which is what we explained to her. However, we gave her the option of coming in within a week to change it. She never called or came in until 7/24/2014, almost a full month later.

Upon her return one month later she requested a free full set and we refused. Not only had it been over a month, she never called to make arrangements to come in within the allotted time given., we saw her walking by our shop almost daily if not weekly whereby arrangements or a ‘fix’ could’ve been made but she chose not to come in to take care of the situation within the given time frame. Furthermore we provided the service she requested. We feel her complaint is without merit and should be disregarded for the reasons herein.
