Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me ThanksSincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I fully understand Honda’s standard warranty policy However, it is not inconceivable for this particular issue to arise over the time & mileage period since the timing belt service was performedLynnwood Honda has the opportunity to make things right as they were the last to service the pulley bolt that directly contributed to the pulley coming loose thus causing the damage to my vehicle Neither their technician nor their service advisor were able to provide an explanation to as how the pulley came loose if not due to the improper torque set on the crankshaft pulley bolt from the previous timing belt service performed As stated in my original complaint filed, I have made several attempts to reach their management team for a resolution on September 3rd, 6th, and 7th The dealership has made no attempts to follow up with me to address my complaint and issues with the repairs done If they truly care about their customer service and satisfaction they have my contact info to reach out and resolve matters amicably If however, the issues are not resolved in a satisfactory manner we will move to settle things in court Respectfully, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I spoke with Martin, the service advisor who worked with Mr***. It was unfortunate timing for his window switch to have broken while it was in for service. Clearly, working on airbag recalls has nothing to do with the window switch. Mr*** did not want to pay for the
repair. To help him out, Martin offered to pay for the labor if Mr*** would pay for the part, at a discounted rate. Mr*** paid for the part plus tax, and said thank you for the help. Martin thought he was happy with the service that was provided. When Mr*** said that Greg had "amnesia" regarding the price of the part it was because he spoke to the Service manager, Rich, not the Assistant Service Manager, Greg
Because Mr*** is a Veteran who served our country we will refund the $93.43. A check, #***, will be mailed today

Mr*** came into Lynnwood Honda on Sept 3, 2016, for a repair to his Honda Accord. Repair order # *** states the technician found a crank pulley was coming looseThe pulley was replaced, he was given a 15% parts and labor discount, and charged $which was paid. The
customer states that the loose pulley is a result of inferior work done years previously. On November 12, 2012, he did have the timing belt replaced per Repair Order # ***.
Lynnwood Honda warranties our parts and labor for months/12,miles. This is the same as the American Honda warranty. Mr*** has driven almost years and 36,miles. If the timing belt repair was done poorly or incorrectly, the pulley would have come loose within the first 10,miles, not years later and 36,miles of driving
Mr*** also states that he has had several independent technicians inspect the new pulley and it has an unacceptable wobble. We would ask that Mr*** return the car to Lynnwood Honda so we can inspect our work at no charge. He also states that the timing belt cover needs to be replaced. The recollection of the technician who worked on his vehicle is that the cover was in fair shape and had no holes rubbed through it so it was reinstalled on the vehicle
At this time we refuse to refund the $as we have not had the opportunity to re-inspect our work and the repair done years previously is an unreasonable amount of time to expect to have the work repaired under warranty

On July 1st a letter was sent to Mr*** from Erik N***, President of Lynnwood Honda. 1) He stated that Lynnwood Honda did not engage in any fraudulent actions, that we were following the advice of the manufacturer service bulletin. The repair that Mr*** used is not
considered by *** *** to be a permanent fix for the Odyssey door problem. 2) Service personnel are aware of the rehoming procedures 3) Processes are currently in place 4) We have no control over the service bulletins written by *** ***5) We do not feel any other customers have had unnecessary door repairs because we have been repairing the doors as designated in the service bulletin6) A refund check was included with the letter sent on July 1, 2015.A copy of the letter was emailed separately to ***

I would like to apologize for the lack of communication from Lynnwood Honda.  Also for the fact that [redacted] had to come back to resign the papers. The correction to the Service Contract was made in our office before the contract was sent to the service provider.  I have attached a copy of...

the contract with thecorrect serial number.  We were able to cross out the incorrect number and hand write the correct VIN number without having the document resigned.  I will mail the copy to the [redacted] today 7/22/2015.Again, I am sorry for the lack of communication and for Arion not calling back.  All the papers were corrected and all that needed to be done was verify that information with the [redacted] and send them the corrected copy.  I have reviewed this issue with Arion and the department Manager, Randy S[redacted].  This should not have happened.Wendy P[redacted]
