Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/03/30) */ Our business was contacted by and paid by Electrolux to examine and replace the electrical cord on the window AC at the customer's (MrE) homeWhen emailed MrE's information, we called to initiate contact (Mar 3) and asked that he call us when he received the part (new electric cord) from Electrolux The appointment was Mar 7, MrE was very degrading and rude to our techniciansThey were being extra careful taking the cover off the window AC as all brands have different mounting methodsServicing window ACs for our business is infrequent as they are less economically feasible to repairWe are in the business of service and installation of whole house residential and light commercial HVAC systemsBefore they went about replacing the power cord, they tested the original power cord and found it to be working properly, with the exception of the LED lightThe new power cord did not have an LED lightThey called Electrolux Service Support to verify they had the correct part and were told the new cords do not have LED lightsMrE became belligerent and our technicians left the premises MrE called our office and made rude remarks about our technicians and threatened to call the Revdex.com [redacted] our [redacted] explained their caution in opening the unit, became frustrated and eventually cursed and hung up on Mr [redacted] immediately regretted his actions, but decided calling MrE back would be pointless We billed Electrolux for the service call and told them we would do no further service at the customer's residenceMrE was not billed by our businessLater when Electrolux called asking us to return to MrE's to replaced the window AC, we declined, stating the customer was rude and hostileThey understood and asked for other HVAC businesses in our area that we might recommendWe did not provide any businesses We can provide the Electrolux contact information if you request to verify Mr [redacted] behaviorWe were told we were not the first HVAC company to be sent to the home

The appointment was Mar 7, 2016. Mr. E was very degrading and rude to our technicians. They were being extra careful taking the cover off the window AC as all brands have different mounting methods. Servicing window ACs for our business is infrequent as they are less economically feasible to repair. We are in the business of service and installation of whole house residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Before they went about replacing the power cord, they tested the original power cord and found it to be working properly, with the exception of the LED light.
