M. A Construction & Design

I sub contracted MA Construction & Design ([redacted] and [redacted])to install windows. He was going to buy and install the next day. Next day he texts that the windows have to be ordered. Okay. It will be two weeks. In two weeks I call him but cannot get a hold of him. He does not reply. After three days he does text and says the windows did not come in and it will be one more week. Okay. Both times he said we could get the deposit money of $500 back. No, just do the windows. After another week I cannot get a hold of him for a few days and his phone had been temp. disconnected. I call his business phone and his wife (business partner) answers and tells me he is in the hospital and she will have him call me. No calls from him. A few days later he does finally contact us and says the windows that came in were the wrong ones. I asked for the money back. It had been 4 weeks and the correct windows had not come in either due to him or the window company. I believe he was at fault. Regardless, he had assured us we would get the deposit back. So now after six weeks, two install appointments with no show, and two promises of a specific date to return the deposit and he has not, it is time to complain to the Revdex.com. He does not return calls or texts until he feels hassled and then believes it is our fault. I have all text and email records to prove what I say. There are some that are desperate plea's to call us. His wife emailed me calling me names and saying she does not believe the money should be returned because I have hassled them. Pay your debts and I have no reason to call, email or text you. His website said they has insurance coveage through the BWC but from what the BWC told me there is no record of that company having coverage. There was coverage from a previous company the in the wifes name but that it was not paid current under that company name.I have no idea what kind of work he is capable of though if he can't get windows in less than 6 weeks I don't care. Pay back the deposit.
