Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
In reading the response provided by ServPro it is not accurate. Their assumption is that the *** was misplaced and subsequently found, which is totally false. As stated in my complaint, the incident is being investigated by the police. Trooper *** is the investigating officer and the case number is ***. I spoke with ServPro today and provided this information to them. I understand their need for proof that it was stolen, which is in the hands of the police.
Keep in mind that both myself and *** (office manager) visually saw the device during our inspection of the rental unit. We than left leaving the ServPro workers in the unit. When I returned later that evening, the item was gone. Therefore, a ServPro worker stole the *** during that time
The ServPro response requests that I send correspondence via certified mail. I do not understand what information they are requesting
Regards,
*** ***

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Servpro of [redacted] is ignoring the basic fact
that a household item went missing while the rental unit was in their charge.  In addition, Servpro of [redacted] is misrepresenting
the facts and makes claims that are simply inaccurate.
The investigating officer does not press charges.  The investigating officer investigates, and
in the case of theft, the victim needs to file a complaint in the court of law.
Servpro of [redacted] has been made aware on 3
different occasions that the [redacted] cannot be traced; twice by me and once by the
investigating officer.  Their claim that
they were never notified of this is inaccurate.
An [redacted] was found at the Servpro of [redacted] location.  Where did it come from?

[redacted]
[redacted] refused to speak to Trooper [redacted] about the missing [redacted].  A simple phone call to Trooper [redacted] will
validate this assertion.

I
tried to resolve this matter with Servpro at the very start but they insisted
that I prove it was stolen, which prompted me to ask the police to investigate
the matter.

Due to Servpro of [redacted] unwillingness to take
responsibility, I contacted
[redacted], Chief Executive Officer of Servpro, and requested her
assistance.  As of today she has not
responded.
I request
that the Revdex.com carefully read the responses provided by Servpro of [redacted]
and identify the knowingly inaccurate facts.  I am very willing to speak with a Revdex.com
representative about this matter and point out the questionable statements.
Looking at the evidence in total, it
is clear that while the rental unit was in their possession, an [redacted] was
stolen.  Servpro does not seem to be
willing to take ownership of the theft and provide restitution.  Businesses with these types of business
practices simply should be allowed to exist.
Consumers need to be aware of their unlawful acts and poor customer
service responses.
The last line of their response dated
3/6/2014 indicates that Servpro of [redacted] refuses to take responsibility for
the theft nor has an interest in resolving this matter outside the court of
law.  Servpro of [redacted] should be
ashamed of themselves for not trying to resolve this is[redacted] and should further be
embarrassed that they are responsible for the theft of a child’s price
possession.
Regards,
[redacted]

We simply told this customer that were reviewing records and her account showed a balance and we wished to clean up our books. We don't take cash payments. Books are closed on this account, no further actions are needed.

To Whom it may concern regarding [redacted] complaint,( Revdex.com complaint number[redacted])
We have enclosed documentation of regards of this complaint and our attempts to resolve this is[redacted] with the tenant,
1.    Trooper [redacted] with [redacted] State Police ###-###-####, had been contacted by Servpro of [redacted] about the police report that [redacted] filed. At that point in time the officer was not pressing any charges and was not intending to press any charges against Servpro of [redacted] or [redacted], We have never received a follow up call from the police or [redacted] about the [redacted] being unable to be traced.
2.    [redacted] has had a background check ran on him, he only has driving offenses an his background, which is not against our policies to hire him.(Also attached)
3.    Trooper [redacted] had not ever called our office and asked to speak to [redacted].
4.    The [redacted] that was found was not in a vehicle it was in our office.
5.    Trooper [redacted] entered the [redacted] in question into the national database as a stolen item, nothing else we can do since [redacted] cannot trace the item through [redacted] as he states now.
6.    I had mailed **. [redacted] a letter requesting information but never received a call or letter back from him to resolve this matter, it seems like he would rather report it to everyone( Revdex.com, Servpro corporate and the police) instead of finding a solution to the problem.
7.    At this point in time, we feel the item was misplaced, and/or that our employee [redacted] had not stolen the item and will back him in legal matters if necessary.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
There seems to be a serious lack of communication between the facts as I reported them to Servpro and the way Servpro describes them to the Revdex.com as outlined in their textual responses .  At best they are misleading and at worst they are knowingly inaccurate.
Below are the actual facts provided by the investigating officer on 2/14/2014.  These are not in dispute and I encourage both the Revdex.com and Servpro to contact Trooper [redacted] for verification.
1. Trooper
[redacted] contacted [redacted] and determined that the missing [redacted] is a 5th
generation unit and is not able to be traced.
2. [redacted]
[redacted] was identified as the Servpro employee left unattended in the rental
unit at the time of the theft.
3. [redacted]
[redacted] has a previous arrest.
4. [redacted]
[redacted] refused to speak to Trooper [redacted] about the missing [redacted].
5. Servpro
searched the vehicle used by [redacted] and a blue [redacted] was
discovered.  My son’s [redacted] was metallic in color so the [redacted] found was not
my son’s.
6. Trooper
[redacted] entered the serial number of the missing [redacted] into a national database
of stolen items.  Our hope is that it may turn up someday, but it is
unlikely.
7. Servpro
mentioned to Trooper [redacted] that they would prefer to prevent bad publicity.
Looking at the evidence in
total, it is clear that the Servpro employee, [redacted], stole the [redacted]
while left unattended in my rental unit.  Hopefully Servpro will take
ownership of the theft and provide restitution.  In reading their inaccurate responses I doubt their willingness to accept responsibility for the actions of their employee.  To try and resolve this matter outside of the court system, I contacted [redacted]
[redacted], Chief Executive Officer of Servpro, and requested her assistance.  She has been provided with all of the facts that I have truthfully reported.
