Review: Hired contractor for work, after demanding a deposit upfront,showed up 1 week late with no phone correspondance (with no notice and no response to phone calls during business hours)his work was intermittent, 2-3 half days per work week, gave a 7 day turnaround promise but took nearly 2 weeks.the due date was sept 20, as of today the work is not finished. there is incorrect electrical wiring including open and live wires, a safety hazard,I caught his worker smoking cigarettes inside the house, which is a health hazard, and just plain rude,they left drywall dust on every surface indoors which is a complete health hazard and i'm very allergic to dust,there is a brand new fan in a box, which he was supposed to install, but has gone missing from the premises of our gated home.the carpet was cut incorrectly, and needs to be completely replaced.he is not responding to my phone or text messages to finish his work.unfortunately I paid him in full now, and have nothing for him to have incentive to finish his work with.overall I have spent many hours side lined by his inability to communicate and left with a mess of a construction site for 2 more weeks than intended, instead of him showing up to work as he was paid to.

I need at bare minimum, the estimated cost of the carpets and installation covered (700 sq. ft) , the fan replaced and installed, and a professional cleaner hired to clean the deck, and all the interior of hazardous drywall dust. I will also need an electrician to finish the electrical work.
