M & B Auto Sales

I purchased a 1997 Honda Civic from M&B Auto Sales. I was never given a title to the vehicle even though I paid cash. I found out when trying to get my MS title that one does not exist and TX holds the title. M&B Auto held a MS title so I was told, but when I sent the lien release paperwork it was never returned and I was told the owner was out of the country. I then asked for a letter stating release of lien. I was sent on August 21, 2013 a notarized lien release from M&B Auto Sales only to find out that the vehicle should have never been put on the street. I was told that M&B never could have sold me the vehicle based on in 2002 a salvage title was placed on the vehicle and it can not be registered, sold, nor driven on the street. I contacted M&B Auto Sales again informing them of this and was told by the son on September 10, 2013 that he would contact the state and correct this and I have yet to hear back. I need to remove this vehicle from my apartment complex and I can not sale nor drive the car on the street. I can only sale it to a junk yard for $[redacted] since TX has a salvage title it can only be sold for parts. I have been dealing with this for some time and trying not to take to Civil Court based on fraud by selling a Salvage vehicle by flipping the title in a different state and not notifying the owner and I am sure that the Attorney General would love to see just how many salvage vehicles M&B Auto sales has put on the road illegally. Unless you inspect the vehicle in the state that the salvage title is issued and have that state inspect the vehicle it is still illegal to sale that vehicle and drive it on the street.
