Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: When I first called I only wanted the carpenter bees taken care of, then he sells my wife a plan that would of cost $per year plus the $you pay up front we are retired and on fixed income. When I realized that I am paying $plus tax a month for a service every two months is quite expenseSo when I called up to cancel I spoke to Lewis and I asked if I was still covered for the bees and he said yesSo when I called that I still have bees around the house I was told I was not coveredSo they want me to pay another $for bee service when that is what I wanted from the beginningThere business practices are the worst they do not even have my name spelled rightAnd as far as the documents go they talk a lot of crap and put down something else

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: When I called to cancel Lewis told me I was still covered for 6 months for the carpenter bees and told him that's fine because that's all I need. After paying $240.00 they want me to pay $75.00 more. They were at my house for 25 minutes. They really know how to take care of Seniors. They say they have all documents signed but what was said to make her sign those documents.

The homeowner hired Terminator to treat for an active termite infestation. They purchased a 1 year program that includes termites, crawling insects and stinging insects. Client had concerns of ants around pool, mice in the house and bees on exterior. The previous year they had hired a bee...

professional to open the wall in their great room for a possible nest but nothing was found. Terminator performed an inspection in late February the termite bait program and liquid treatment of front porch in March as well as spraying the house and installing rodent bait stations throughout the interior and exterior of house, at that time no flying insect activity was noted. On June 13th we performed the Summer service of the house and the areas around the pool, check and service all rodent stations, client still had concerns about flying insects getting into her great room from the dormer. on June 15 as per customer request we returned to inspect for wasp activity around dormers but found no evidence of an active nest anywhere in the area in or out of the great room. For the next 4 months ( prime wasp season) we did not hear from client. On October 20th the fall service was performed where no wasp/yellow jacket activity was noted or even mentioned by customer we also checked all the rodent stations and replaced bait for fresh bait even though non of the bait had been touched ( meaning no rodent activity) client was satisfied with service and even tipped the technician that day. On December 13 we returned to the house to do the winter service, once again no rodent bait was touched and not wasps were seen, pour service supervisor was on site with the technician and showed the customer that the 2 flying insects she thought were wasps were actually house flies, customer became very frustrated when tech and supervisor both explained that there is no preventative  treatment for flying insects and in fact it is unlawful to make a pesticide application to the exterior for a home without evidence of an active nest in a specific location. Customer was adament in technician climbing a 40 foot high pitched roof to treat for wasps, the tech refused for reasons mentioned above and left the premises. When a house has a great room with high vaulted  ceilings, flying insects find their way in from any crack or crevice as well as from adjacent attics, light fixtures etc, these insects ultimately die as they cannot survive inside and will continue to try to get out, we always recommend our clients hire a handy man to seal off any possible entry points. In summary we performed 5 service visits to the house and 1 inspection over the period of 9 months at the time of our final visit on December 13 we can state with confidence that there is no active rodents, termites or wasp, yellow jacket nest on the exterior wall of the great room, that was the final service of the , the customer has 3 months left on the program where they could call for any insect or rodent activity noted. In the name of good business practice we are willing to refund to the customer the unused portion of the program to the value of $186.25. The Terminator team has an excellent reputation for client satisfaction, but we cannot and will not make unlawful applications or place our techs in danger to appease  customer demands.

On May 8th 2015 based on an assessment of the infestation, our representative, Vincent Gagliano gave [redacted] 2 options . The first was a carpenter bee treatment for  infested areas for $295 + tax , this service was for carpenter bees only and it comes with a 6 month warranty for all...

areas treated. The second choice  was an annual program  that includes not only carpenter bees but also general household pests such as ants, crickets, spiders wasps and more, this program is $225 + tax down and $45+ tax per month and services are performed on a bi monthly basis with unlimited amount of service calls. [redacted] was handed a sheet explain the program in detail. [redacted] decided to purchase the year round program. An appointment was made and on May 12th  the technicians went out to the house and performed the service not only for the carpenter bees but also treated the entire house for  general pests as a part of the program. [redacted] paid the $225+ tax ( $ 240.75) down payment to begin the continuous program. 2 days later [redacted] calls the office wanting to cancel the program we advised him that by doing so all services would cease to continue. Today  [redacted] called saying that he is seeing carpenter bees and wants service, for a program he himself had cancelled, what [redacted]  should have purchased was the carpenter bee service with 6 month warranty instead of the year round program then they would be covered for the carpenter bees. For the sake of good business practices I am willing to give [redacted] the option of switching to the carpenter bee service with 6 mpnth warranty  by paying the difference of $ 74.90, or to continue with the annual program by contacting our office and furnishing a credit card to be charged $45+ tax monthly. Please note that we have all documents pertaining to this matter that were used and signed by [redacted].
