M C CONSTRUCTION

My husband and I had a contract with MC Construction to install the framing, exterior finishes, roofing and windows/exterior doors for our house renovation. Framing went well and once the framing was about 95% complete, the contractor disappeared. He continually told us he would be back in a week but never showed up. After our materials for the exterior sat at our house for about a month, the materials were stolen. We had originally bought the materials and were frustrated that the contractor let the materials sit for a month. After discussions with him, we decided we would split the cost of the materials that needed to be re-bought. We gave him a check for half the cost and then never saw him again. He didnt finish his contract and stole our money to buy the new material.
