This is a collection agency for Comcast Cable. They called me about a bill I due not owe. I have never had service with them and do not live in the state they were calling about. They wanted me to give them personal information about myself such as my social security number, I told them, "No Way." They hung up. Their phone number is 816-489-4596

Call continued without message. unsolicited and likely associated with calls from other companies carrying out scam calls.
I have received various calls from questionable numbers, either hanging up or not leaving messages, on the same day. This is one of them. I wonder where they get the numbers and how they can pass ** the no call list regulations. I am on no call lists. Other associated numbers are YMax XXXXXXXXXX, FloridDMS XXXXXXXXXX, and a South Burlington number, XXX XXXXXXX. Two of these, when called back have the same recorded message: you have been called for research purposes only. if you want to be put on our do not call list, call xxxxxx. I suspect this is a way to confirm number, name, and address to refine and target their scam calls.
