I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Whenever we have moved previously, (also with ***), the inventory sheet copy was given to usI am totally disabled , and wasn’t able to watch what the loaders did with our previous moves since my stair lift had been removed the day beforeI know what I saw them take from the apartmentThose items,: the black shelf bookcase, a black bookcase, a black bookcase headboard, s bronze colored floor lamp with gooseneck reading lamp, a black floor lamp similar to the bronze one, and a 3x4’ white board with tray were taken out of the appartment after wrapping them in plastic. As imentionrd anobe, I was not able to see what went into the truck However, we saw the helpers remove these items from our appartmentI have priced the missing articles and they come to about a cost to replace of about $Had we been given the inventory sheetsAs is customary, we would have known the helpers left them in the garage, or the were lost in the warehouseAs for the boxes, the supervisor/driver sent me to *** *** for extra large boxes, as he said he was repacking and combining some boxesAgain, we do not know what boxes he repacked or combined, as they arrived unmarkedBy the time he sent me to buy more boxes of the size he wanted, all the furniture was supposedly on the truck. We we were not told to keep broken items for an adjuster to seeOne piece of furniture that was wa white bedside table had one of the wooden legs broken at the point it entered the wooden bottom of the drawer box, and after showing it to us , the drivers helper took it across the street and threw it into the dumpster. I expect reimbursement for tlost lost or stolen furniture and lamps, lus the broken items we have already discovered, as well as any further items we discover broken, which we will keepWe also know that two boxes that was packed in medium sized wine boxes containing books and notebooks containing syllables from *** *** ** *** *** as well as a pair of hearing aids must have been repacked, as welmany boxes from the kitchen that were boxed similarly to my text and study materials must have been repacked by the supervisor and placed in unmarked boxes, or disappeared in the warehouse or otherwise not found yetWe expect immediate reimbursement for the missing furniture items, and lAter reimbursement for any broken items we further discoverDr*** ***

Revdex.com spoke to Cathy at business and the following was relayed: The crack was through the table, the table was not dropped by us and we did not cause the crack

I contacted is well respected, and well known.  He felt in his professional opinion, by looking at photo's, supplied by Mr [redacted], the table top had a 'seam' opening, not a crack from dropping.  It had been carefully pad wrapped. The crew on the move stated they did NOT at any time drop said top.   The furniture repair man didn't say he wouldn't or couldn't repair, he felt in his professional opinion, it would not be a 'clean' repair, it would be quite noticeable, and it wasn't all the way across, it was what appeared to be a 4" crack, on a seam.  This customer did not elect to take valuation/insurance on the move for more than the 30 cents per pound, per article.  I'm sorry for his loss, and we felt upon the opinion of the respected repair service this was all we could do. Household [redacted]

I am unable to go forward until I have a name. We move numerous customers locally and long distance. long distance, as in this case, is an [redacted] van lines move. indeed we are the authorized agents for [redacted] van lines.    this complainant was referred to [redacted] van lines directly, as...

they handle the claim process.... and it appears they were. I have no control, other than to offer information to said claim service. I am sorry for their loss.  we ask customers to make sure everything is opened at destination before beginning the claim process, in the event, the items are indeed discovered or found packed.   I have no idea who these people are. I cannot offer any other information.  shippers are certainly entitled to the inventory doc's, but an [redacted] driver not from my agency would've hauled this shipment, and I cannot control, nor offer any information as to why perhaps the inventory sheets were not provided to the shipper.  they most certainly were given the order for service,by the move coordinator prior to the move, stating all shipment details and bill of lading at the time of the move.  again, having no information to offer any other explanation, I am helpless. [redacted] claims will always instruct the shipper to retain the crushed, broken boxes as evidence, and the broken items to review at their discretion. typically an adjuster would come to inspect, and duly note his or her findings.

first reading of 'complaint' there WAS NO NAME offered on the complaint rec'd from Revdex.com. #2, all/every page of inventory sheets at origin are clearly marked at the bottom of said pages by the driver picking up the shipment to bring into our warehouse: "in garage, crushed, open, moist"  then notes along each line, each item, example: P.B.O. = Packed By Owner.   CU= 'contents unknown'. the sheets all reflect the same : "in garage, crushed, open, moist, soiled, wet, "all garage items soiled, wet, dirty, broken"  "heavy, dusty, wet".   page 5 of 6, LR (assuming living room) at bottom of page "items heavy, dusty, W" w= badly worn. that was 8/7/17 picked up from residence.   brought to our whse, then picked up/loaded by ANOTHER [redacted] van lines driver from a different agency. inventory sheets are all dated, signed on 8/7. i've scoured these sheets, there are no floor lamps, there is no 'black bookcase headboard' from the house, or the garage. I have 6 sheets of inventory. the ORIGINALs would've gone w/ the shipment, in the custody of the driver who was delivering. I can not assume why shipper wasn't shown, or given inventory at delivery.   taking inventory at residence, noted by individual taking/making out the inventory sheets, next to a line item, numerous: w= "badly worn", "cu= contents unknown" P.B.O. 'garage'  3-1/2 pages of inventory of boxes, items taken from 'GARAGE'.  ex: folding shelf: sc: scratched, ch: chipped, z: cracked, w: badly worn noted by inventory taker AT ORIGIN. IF complainant is stating boxes were 're-taped' probably becuz they were opening due to moisture, improperly packed, wet, and taped insufficient for shipping. [redacted] van lines handles all claims.  not the individual agent. he was directed (shipper) to [redacted] VAN LINES customer service/claims, who have all the ppwk (previously scanned) as is protocol.  it is their call, their determination on claim settlement. I can only report on what is in front of me. I can only direct them to [redacted] van lines.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They have agreed to send us a check for $300.00. If we do not receive this check within an appropriate timeframe I will be contacting the Revdex.com again.
Regards,
[redacted]

I have only these 2  pictures as you can see the crack is not on a SEAM as stated .
