Review: On. Dec. 16th 2013 I paid [redacted] Owner of MDK Mechanical,LLC $875.00 for the purchase and installation of a new water heater. On the 19th this water heater failed. [redacted] came over and re lit the pilot light. Said it might be condensation. On the 19th, same issue, no hot water. He relit it again. On the 22nd, he had to come back again. Replaced the Thermocouple. Told him I was not happy with this water heater. I researched it online & it had a lot of bad reviews. He said that if he had to come back to fix it a couple of more times within 6 months he would replace it with another and all money paid would go be applied to the new purchase. No charge. May 16th no hot water again. He came over to light it. Sat. May 17th, no hot water. I have called his office and asked what is going to be done. I was told by office staff he was waiting to hear from supplier. A few days later still no call from this plumber to let me know when he will trouble shoot, repair, or replace the unit. I waited a few more days and On Thursday the 22nd I called same office person and told her I will be expecting a refund of all money so I can call another plumber to purchase & install new water heater. She said she would let [redacted] know. I called another plumber who said he could come over & look at it the next day Fri. the 23rd.He came over and relit it. Said it is dripping inside the tank and that the previous plumber should have fixed it already but that I probably need a new water heater. Said he would try to reach [redacted] at MDK about it. [redacted] never called me by the 28th so I left same message at 2 of his phone numbers telling him I would be calling the Revdex.com, the Dept. of Consumer Protection & my Attorney. The next day on the 29th of May at 8:03 AM he called my cell at work. He said he didn't care what I did. I told him it has been 2 wks. He said "[redacted]" so I hung up on him. As of 5/31 no call to repair, replace or refund. Over 2 wks,still no hot water, but he has my $875.00 All calls to him are saved on my cell phone.Desired Settlement: Want complete & immediate refund of $875.00 brought to my home because he cannot be trusted to put it in the mail in a timely fashion. I spend 2- 2 1/2 hrs. a day heating water for my needs due to his lack of service and professionalism. Carrying all these pot of very hot water from one room to the other is hurting my back and shoulders at this point.
