M D L Tree Service

I contacted the owner of MDL to remove trees from a home that I own. I contacted him because about six years ago, he removed four large trees from another home and did a great job I was happy with his work. It took over a year for me to get him out this time,but I decided to continue to get him because I thought he did a good job previously. Anyway, he finally scheduled a day to do the work but had to change the date. I was out of town when he removed the trees but I left a check with my elderly mother to pay him. He was paid but he did not complete the work. He removed two trees and one short trunk of a third tree. He ground only one stump and removed the whole tree. For the other two trees, he left the stump and he left parts of the tree that are too heavy for one person to lift. I don't understand why he left the cut tree parts in my yard. Now I can't cut my grass in those areas and they are in my way. He might as well had left the remaining part of the tree standing, at least I wouldn't have heavy pieces of bark that I am unable to move all around the yard.
